bland10000
This thing is so darn reflective...The Victor units have a quick-charge ability, this requires them to use a 6V wall adapter for the Ni-MH cell rather than the standard 3V adapter. With the quick-charge, you get approximately 15 hours playback with a 20 minute sitting. Of course, that is 15 hours for LP4 and I'm an SP guy so about 3 hours for the 20 minutes. It boasts that it has 305 hour maximum playback with internal cell and external add-on assuming you listen to LP4. This is the longest of current run models but a former model, XM-C31, can do 318 hours. Edited December 20, 2006 by bland10000

bland10000
Very nice - What's the SQ like on the Victor units these days?Equitable to Sony's hd-amp with the low sound floor and clear like a Kenwood. Keep in mind describing sound is...well it is just not quantifiable.
