Transcend15 Posted September 22, 2006 Report Share Posted September 22, 2006 (edited) When I picked up my new RH1 last week from Sony Central (retail outlet) the sales rep told me that Sony (wholesale) in Australia is about to increase the recommended retail price (RRP) of HI-MD blanks to Aus$11.95. I assume http://www.minidisc.com.au souce their HI-MD balnks from Sony (in Australia) unless they import from overseas. That said, this is an RRP and it is up to the retailer to set the sale price. I have purchased several times from http://www.minidisc.com.au - excellent web retailer.I hope the price does not go up.
