cryinglandscape Posted May 8, 2007 Report Share Posted May 8, 2007 Does anyone know if Sonic Stage would alert me if a read error occured while transfering my audio from a MiniDisc to my computer? Specifically, many CD rippers will just create wav files with skips in them if I was doing something else on the computer and was hogging all the memory. Is there any risk of this kind of thing happening with Sonic Stage transfers? To be clear, I'm not speaking about existing problems on the MiniDisc itself. I have had it with MediaMonkey, when ripping MP3's but not with Audiograbber ripping WAV's or MP3's. Give Audiograbber a whirl for your CD's. Or just use SonicStage. Audio extraction from CDs, by nature, is prone to errors and inaccuracies because of the nature of the CD format.
