bobzilli
Just wondered if anyone here had or still collected pre recorded MD's. I had a good number of them both US and japanese releases but got rid of them when I made my fatal switch to IPod a few years back. Now that I'm back to MD's I wish I'd kept them

ZosoIV
Be careful with pre-recorded MDs - some of the older ones sounded pretty metallic and unpleasant as they were pressed with the first versions of ATRAC.
bobt
Be careful with pre-recorded MDs - some of the older ones sounded pretty metallic and unpleasant as they were pressed with the first versions of ATRAC.They are definately no worse than some early cd's, or badly produced LP's, the reason I like em is because they are rare, and going down the road in my Maruti, they sound pretty darn good.JMHOBob

Nostalgia .....is a GOOD thing
ZosoIV
To each their own, I guess - I jettisoned the few pre-recorded MDs I owned a while back because I couldn't stand how they sounded. They do seem oddly collectible nowadays, if only for their rarity.
