Hey people!

I have this old sony NETMD device floating around.

It was an expansionbay for VAIO laptops, but I was wondering if it is possible to get it on USB somehow.

Now it's just sitting around in the JUNKBOX, and I want to give it a function.

NETMD is for audio as far as I can recall....am I right about that?

Do you have the model number of it at all?

It should just work with a standard Mini-USB cable, that's what I've been using my MZ-710 and NH700 with! You'd need to download SonicStage though, just google 'SonicStage download' and it should be one of the top links :)

uhm that would be a problem.

It's an internal thing for a laptop with some special connector.

It's the PCGA-MDN1.

So soldering is required....

But I just can't find any info on it.
