well its a great very small unit but the battery life isnt all that great!

So wondered - are there alternative better batteries to buy to replace the LIP-4WM?

And does anyone know if you can get an external charger to use with this size of battery - as this would be very helpful at work/

advice would be much appreciated...Gary

You're right about the battery life... fairly good, but not great.

I'm thinking of getting the APC UPB10 Mobile Power Pack... it's an external lithium polymer battery that provides a charge via USB. I think it would work with the RH1. It's got excellent reviews on Amazon.com, and it's at a good price.

some really helpful advice team - thanks very much - gary

guitarfxr - can you post a link to the item your'e talking about please - thanks - gary

I will have to go back to the store and get the model number , soon as I have it I will send a link .

It was pretty cool looking to , I have several Batt packs , with USB for my RH1 the two faves are my Filco 4.4 amp lithium ( Talk about Recording time ,, jeesh )

and another has 4 aa's and USB out

I have a Targus USB pack 4 AAA's with a built in light , that I would be willing to part with , AAA 's are getting harder to find here in Japan at convenience stores .

This Targus pack will also use AND CHARGE 4 rechargeable AAA batts ,
