Does anyone know of a program to do this? What model? If it isnt HiMD , the Real time is your only Option , which means Line Out from the MD , to the Line Input on your Computer , then a Recording program to record it, edit it , and convert it . Audacity is a good prog for that ( Freebie) If you have access to an MZ-RH1 HiMD then you can Upload directly all the old discs to your Computer , and convert to whatever format at your leisure . THIS SUCKS
use hi-md renderer instead.
A440
There is no program to do a direct transfer. Hi-MD Renderer will help record each track (in realtime) as a separate track.
sfbp
Another (maybe better) option is to use a Deck with MDLP and digital out. It will be slower but you will not be the victim of strange decisions taken by the program Sonic Stage. This may be crucial with LP2 recordings which are already lossy. The output of the deck is of course PCM/WAV/1411kbps, so as long as you don't try to compress this again, you at least keep whatever quality you had.Decks are not that hard to find at the moment, even ones with MDLP. The other thing is that they don't seem to care about the restrictions (that even the RH1 places), on tracks from "another computer". I saw one on craigslist for $100 recently.
