slimjimmed
I put a T-Mark at the 14:00 minute mark of a recording, then realized that I needed a t-mark to be before then. So I set my second T-Mark at the 12:00 minute mark. Since then I have been getting a read err.I tried other discs and they work fine. I am assuming that t-marking my second track before the 1st is what messed things up. Is there any way of resolving this to get my audio from this disc. I have a wedding ceremony on it and am pulling my hair out.I seem to get a read err with whatever functions I attempt to perform with this disc. Thanks. Syrius
Have you tried another unit? Hi-MDs can read some discs that my R37 cannot.
THIS SUCKS
definitly try the disk in as many units as you have it might work on one of them. also you could try to carefully open the shutter and see if ther is dirt on the disk. i have had many dirty disks. just clean them with a qtip
sfbp
1. try something similar with a disk you don't care about. If that works the problem is not with the unit. I mean writing not just reading. The read function might be fine until the NEXT disk you try to alter.2. try removing the track mark with another unit. If you don't have one, it's time to get one anyway. Sorry 'bout that.My guess is that machine ran out of power at the critical moment. Since it's not HiMD there's a very good chance you can recover all the music/recorded info using TOC cloning. Look at user Raintheory's sig information for stuff about TOC cloning.Good luck! THIS SUCKS
i just realized you have a n-707. they are prone to breaking! the write head cable snaps and becomes intermittent causing write problems and incorrectly written disks
