For the past several weeks I have tried to get on their forum to do some research, and yet it claims that the menu had been disabled and the board is OFFLINE.

This is a very sad day for all of us who own any ATRAC devices (CD Walkmen, MD/Hi-MD players/recorders, flash/HDD Network Walkmen, etc.) Now we no longer have a forum we can call our own where we can chat about/sell/buy/trade our devices.

I encourage all of you to PM or e-mail all administrators/moderators to bring back our forum!!!

Thanks,

Ray Jackson

If the administrators or owners of the website don't see any revenue coming from it, they will close it down. The advertisers on forums expect some forum members or visiters to visit their online stores and make purchases. If they don't, there's no need to advertise at all, therefore no money for the forum owners.

I'm guessing it's a simple oversight. Both this and AL are on the same server, and it's probably something about restarting IIS services (or the equivalent in Linux).

added: I misspoke. I had the wrong address (for some reason I thought it was atraclife.org and it is .com). The board is "offline". This must have been done by one of the admins. It's there but no normal user can access it.
