Abby Normal
What on earth did you do to that poor RH1? You should be banned for that. Bob? Stephen?I don't think poor taste is bannable, dude. Sorry, pchcm--don't mean to razz you so much, but you should probably re-list that without the bling. You're going to get people asking for pictures that show the condition of the unit under your cover anyway. The binder clip is pretty scary too. Why would anyone do that? I wouldn't even do that to an iPod.

Abby Normal
I got curious and ran the text of his listing through translate. It seems there are a couple of defects. Apparently the jog lever has been abused, but "the remote" is the workaround for that. Additionally, there is a bad contact--which is what the binder clip resolves. For that condition the price should be cut quite a bit more. It is definitely a good option for someone who must have RH1's upload capability, but only at a substantially reduced price (to what he's already asking).Edit: Actually I just checked. I thought he initially listed it higher. I'd still pass, but at about $167 US, if it doesn't get bid up higher and he doesn't gouge you on the shipping AND he guarantees it works exactly as described, it's almost fair. This is all assuming you just want it for upload capability and it maintains its current allegedly functional state for awhile. A lot of caveats--so, I pass for that reason and I already have a perfectly good RH1.It's worth noting that ebay states that the listing is covered by standard PayPal protection for full purchase price. It is always wise to fully test anything you get on ebay the moment you receive it to make sure that it functions as described in the listing. Abby Normal
He lowered the price again. I think he might actually have no difficulty having someone in France buy it at this price. You have to admit--assuming it actually works with the caveats described (which, to his credit, he disclosed), it's quite a bargain about $139 USD. With free postage (to France) it is OK I hope. The description is complete and I do not hide any other default. The machine is working (with the soft binder or anything heavy enough) even in nomade way.Original sale by the vietnamese shop... 120 Euros. As you see, they did not care at all about the real state of the machine !2009_01_22.bmp Edited July 15, 2009 by pchcm

Very fair if someone lacks an RH1's unique capabilities and very honest barring any other surprises.
