JSP62
I thought I would make post of wishes that could make things A HELL OF A LOT easier for us consumers. We constantly gripe about support and it is no suprise this is having a big effect for Sony Sales. That being said let us begin: . . .I WISH I COULD EDIT MULTIPLE TRACKS ON SONIC STAGE !!! Dinko
Could you be more specific because I have no idea what you're talking about. What do you mean by "editing multiple tracks"?

MDX-400
he means, song title, like artist, song name, album, etc.Ahh, like mass-tagging? Yeah that would be nice. If you're using MP3 files, there's lots of programs that can do that, but for ATRAC3/3plus and SS, you're out of luck at the moment.Sony should definitely add that feature. They should also allow you to change genre for an entire group/album on the player... You can do that for files on your PC, but if you want to change genre for stuff already on your player you can't do the entire album at once, you're stuck doing each file, one at a time
Dinko
he means, song title, like artist, song name, album, etc.I'm probably missing something, but to edit the ID tags of a number of files, all you have to do is select the cues you want to edit, right click, choose "Properties" and edit the info you want. Any changes made on the screen will be applied to all the selected tracks.

You can do it fine for files/albums in your library, but I can't seem to get that to happen for files on the device already.

JSP62
All you guys hit on the mark with my gripes!!!I had 28GB of music on my player organized with tagging and grouped (uploaded together) in the same genre. Screwd up my DAP somehow and had to start all over =( !!!! After 3 days of leaving it the corner for being so bad and 3 days of heavy binging to forget my problems, I am slowly beginning to build my library over. The good thing is that I have archived about 25GBs of the music onto DVDs using GYM software. I could easily upload the tracks again, but I am going to further organize my collection this time. My VP version 2.0 will be MORE ORGANIZED and it WILL BE THE GREATEST!.....just gonna take me more time again! The big thing is that I never utilized ID3 at all. Everything was laid out in the filename. I see now how much trouble I would have saved my self if I organized with ID3 tagging. Things that will be improved: - album pics (rather than manually matching through the DAP, I am uploading through SS)...HUGE LOAD OFF MY SHOULDER - better file names (some albums I have dont have titles) - all albums not originally archived will need to be ID3 tagged - all albums will be ID3 tagged correctly - genres shall be better groupedPS - I will have old archive cds to throw away. Roughly about 26-29GBs of music. If you want them just pay for the shipping and boxing and its yours. PM me for details and a list.
