MDane
I remember some time back someone told me how one can edit material (divide, combine, etc) in Sonic Stage. But after hours of searching, I could not find any info on this. Additionally, will I be restricted to music that has been uploaded, or can I edit music on a disc while my MZ-M200 is attached to the computer. And I am sure this is wishful thinking - but can one combine, divide, etc. all formats (PCM, MP3, etc) or just Atracs? thanks
sfbp
Not sure what can be edited - suspect ONLY things that have been legitimately uploaded. You have to view All tracks in My Library. All of a sudden there are Divide and Combine options in the Edit menu. HTH Stephen
Hungerdunger
This feature definitely doesn't support mp3 or WAV; not sure about PCM.
MDane
This feature definitely doesn't support mp3 or WAV; not sure about PCM. I guess that would be too much to ask, lol. But if I find it does work for PCM, I will update everyone. But that brings up another somewhat unrelated question: Is there an integrated way to turn PCM files recorded by my M200 into MP3 form? Also, is there some simple software out there that would actually allow one to edit, combine, divide MP3's in the way we have been used to doing for years with MD? You have to view All tracks in My Library. All of a sudden there are Divide and Combine options in the Edit menu. Thanks, I will give that a try. Seems like you told me that before a while back, but I have slept a few times since then.
MDane
Update, I was able to divide/combine PCM tracks...but not WAV or MP3 (just as you said).
