Juan22
This magazine interview claims a live album (A Real Live One) from Iron Maiden would be released in late 1993 on MiniDisc...anyone know anything about this release? (search for the word 'minidisc' so you don`t have to read all the interviews, unless you are a Maiden fan!)
PhilippeC
Juan22, as you live in Colombia, dowload this album (torrent file) and record it on a MD ! Unless it is unlawful in your country.
Juan22
No need to PhilippeC, I already own the album on CD and vinyl ; )
PhilippeC
How is this kind of law respected in south america ?
Juan22
As far as im concerned, such laws are non-existent here. Myself I've downloaded music, documentaries and movies since I was 10 (the old napster, kazaa, limewire days)
PhilippeC
Here in Vietnam, even the providers themselves propose to view for free most of recent movies in streaming. Still far from a real protection again piracy. My son is happy with that as he have 50 X-box 360 games, $1.2 each ! I don't buy myself any longer CD on the local market (cheap quality), the web is the only place where to find music in lossless quality. And as there is in Vietnam also MD blanks for $1.2 (but a few choice in color & brand) and a lot of MD units (except rare portable ones), I am not close to stop to use MD ! Juan22
I can relate to that! As a child I remember buying videogames with my father for the our play station 1 and comparing the prices from the official nintendo store and from the black market...for the price of a single original one I could buy twenty pirate videogames! 20! No one sells MD stuff around here anymore, and over the years I went to all the record stores buying their blanks (they only sold those golden sony 80 min) I don't plan on using anything else really, this format is a bit of an addiction. PhilippeC
(they only sold those golden sony 80 min) Exactly the same, only one choice in a wholesailer shop, but they still have two dozen of 5 units by packs.
Juan22
For about $2 each, one of these days I'll buy one of those 50 blank packs off ebay
PhilippeC
I just want you to show my best buy about MD blanks ever in my MD life (even if it is common for others) : Where I live it is quite impossible to get such MD blanks, even many MD other MD blanks. I cannot have everything ! Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Jimma
The Discogs list has one of my dj mix releases on page 3 PhilippeC I also have a set of TDK WA blanks. They were only released in Japan as far as I'm aware so I ordered a 10 pack from Bluetin. They really are beautiful blanks.
