sonyfanboy
If one has SonicStage 4.3 and any Sony MD player with a USB, could this be done (like ripping a CD)? Which players work this way? The driver on this site does not appear to work for this model.

sonyfanboy
What version of Windows, and what bit-ness? (32- or 64-) Windows 7 (w/Vir XP) 64 bit or 8.1 64 bit.
sfbp
It works fine but you should not install in the virtual machine. Uninstall and reinstall as a regular 64 bit app. At some point you should install the NetMD driver which is what you need to get SS to talk to your DN430. slugbahr
Umm, am I missing something, or is the RH1 necessary here? From MD-->pc digitally, correct? Ignore this post (or delete it, mods) if I'm in the wrong.
Syrius
That's the vibe I got, too. Sonyfanboy, if you want to move the music FROM the MD TO the PC, it cannot be done, no matter what version of Sonicstage you have. You need the MZ RH1. sfbp
Yeah..... when someone says "ripping" I always misread it because I know it cannot be done. Quite right, OP is asking for something which ain't gonna happen. I remember being very disappointed with my first non-deck MD when I discovered the conjuring trick pulled by "transferring" songs that were located on a bottom-of-the-line MD portable was to delete them from the MD.
