Any new Sony Walkmans on the Horizon?

Does anyone know whether Sony is releasing any new Walkmans soon (other than the recent ones)? From memory this time last year they released the S700 series - perhaps they will release another S-series? Or are they finally going to release a high capacity Walkman again?

The reason I ask I because I am in the market for a new Walkman (only brand for me I'm afraid - because of sound quality) and while I like the A818 model, would prefer something with more capacity.

Anyone have some inside knowledge?

In Japanese market, S series is vacant (NW-S700 series is discontinued), which means there is a room for new Walkman; hopefully it is not going to be NWZ-610 series. Traditionally, whenever this happens, new products are introduced within short duration.

Though, I highly doubt NWZ-S610 series will replace NW-S700 series; NW-S700 and new NWZ-610 are totally different in terms of functionality.

There were almost always more than one type of S series in the past at the same given time.

New Walkman that is similar to NW-S700 series and new headphones MDR-EX700SL will make my year.

Japan Sony have NW-S610 and NW-S710 on the page. It seems that on the page they both come with 「SonicStage CP」「Media Manager for WALKMAN」「WALKMAN Launcher」(CD-ROM). Also MP3 128kbps for 33 hrs playback and ATRAC 132kbps for 30 hrs playback. If you can get your hands on the S710 range, that can be a good purchase for this year.
