what software other than sonicstage for nw-a806

i cant even drag cover art into sonicstage no more so any decent alternative wil be apreciated .

It won't work as it was designed for the earlier A-series. Besides, as bad as SS is, Connect is absolute CRAP.

I tried Vaio Music Transfer and it worked with my A806. The setback is that after transfer it disables advance mode and only works in simple mode so i stoped using it because i like the advance mode features like ratings, bookmarks and which tracks I heard on each day of each month.

I'm looking for something similar as SS4.3 doesn't work on my Vista Computer. It's a pain in the back side, as I just got this, and can't return my NWA806. What's the point of having it, if you can't even put music on it.

Hi, In my case SS4.3 works perfect (I own a HD5), but given Sony announcement of dropping Atrac I have started using windows media player for recording music (in mp3 256k format, very similar to atrac 256k), then I create a playlist (.m3u file). Then you open SS, open file/import/m3u and browse where your playlists are and voila!, works perfect. Anyway you need SS in order to transfer music, but WMP is what many people like: drag and drop (I don't think it matters but, Ipodmania works!)
