  1. It's was a bit easier and faster for me. I have to stop by my bank office to make international payement. And I didn't had the time to do so. That's why I used Moneybookers. BTW, Moneybookers fees are lower than paypal's one.
  2. I bought my Onkyo MD-133 from pricejapan using moneybookers.com. Interesting price considering the currency rates between Euro and Japanese Yen at that time. Fast delivery and excellent communication. I had to pay customs duty though.
  3. I can't say anything about the MD-105FX as I never listened to it. Nevertheless, aluminum body case worth every penny. The intec 275 series (and the MD-133) is pretty expensive but I managed to have a good deal with my local retailer and i'm really enjoying it at the moment. No regret.
  4. Brian and me organized a new trade and everything went fine again. Excellent communication, my MDs arrived well packed. Thanks a million Brian !!!
  5. Picutres of my system after a slight living-room remodeling. Vogel's equipment will be bought next month to hide wires.
  6. Grave. It took me some time to get this series because of its price but I'm really enjoying it at the moment, no doubt it will satisfy my needs I planned to do it but I've to make a remodeling of my living room today. I will try to complete my first posts with new pictures when it will be done.
  7. Part I ----------- Onkyo Intec 275 Series (Silver version) ----------- Short Comments : The Intec 275 Series is not sold in Europe. In fact, the Audio amplifier, the CD Player and the AM/FM Tuner are available but under a different reference (PHA-933). Being only available in Japan, the Hi-Md deck (MD-133) has been imported. ----------- A-933 (Audio amplifier) ----------- Short Comments : For its size, the A-933 is really heavy and sweats quality. The front side of the unit presents a hidden door with many features behind such as superbass / bass / treble and speakers selection fonctions, a phones input (etc.). On the back side, one can regret the absence of optical input and output. The (big and awful) remote can control every elements of the Intec 275 Series. ----------- C-733 (CD Player) ----------- Short Comments : The C-733 and the A-933 share the same size (but fortunatly not the same weight). Large display. No remote control. Open/close, play / Pause / stop and FF / FR fonctions on the front side. There is a display button as well. Two optical outputs on the back side.
  8. I traded some discs with Brian. Smooth transaction and excellent comunication. I received my parcel in no time. Everything was in excellent condition; as described. I really hope to trade with you again Brian. Thanks ! Franck.
  9. Being french, I can say that Silly35's translation is totally correct. There is no mention of a Sony HI-MD deck at all.
  10. Levanel and I completed a very complex trade. It tooks us more than one month to set it as we were four from different countries to trade with each other. I finally received my parcel today with blanks in abundance. All the discs was very well protect. Everything is in great condition. I even get a bonus disc that I didn't expected at all ! Here is a picture of what I get today Thanks a milion Levanel ! Franck.
  11. I'm waiting for your pictures with eagerness as well Guitarfxr. I won't take any of those units but it's always a pleasure to see old electronic in perfect working condition BTW, I sent you several PMs. Did you received them ?
  12. Sorry to resurrect a such old thread but as several topics on battery packs have been lately posted of MDCF, I thought it could be a good idea to share what I have done using MDfreak diagrams from MDcenter.nl : Note that it works perfectly to recharge my RH1 Edit : thanks to guitarfxr for checking my typo
  13. Here is what I'm currently using for live recording : Cheers. Franck.
  14. Having a Sony RH1, I can say that my NH3D can be slept more easily into the LowPro Slider 30. And there is enough space for the remote connector. A perfect match Here are the pictures I took this afternoon :
  15. Guitarfxr succeed in founding a very rare unit for my own use. Excellent communication and fast delivery. Really glad to get what I was looking for since ages. Thanks a lot !
  16. Amen. I must confess that I totally agree with that. Long live to this thread !
  17. Got it. But I have to get used to the trick. I'm still improving difficulties.
  18. Yes, I've seen your picture and read your comments as well : I decided to stuff the case with newspapers for that reason. The shell was really to tight.
  19. I received my LOWPRO Slider 30 yersterday morning (the seller was pretty fast !). I can't take pictures of it for the moment as my digital camera is in one the thousand boxes I have on the flour right now lol (i'm moving from my flat to an other one in few days). The case is very solid and present a soft lined interior that will easily protect a unit. The stretch gusset with magnetic clip is great but I would have prefered a velcro system. The case is pretty tight and I still improved difficulties to slip my RH1 into the LOWPRO. The unit seems to be really compressed. I stuffed some newspapers into the case to give it a good shape. Hope that this will work
  20. I can't wait to receive my parcel now. I'll try to take some pictures of it as well. This case is offering a smart way to protect the OLED screen of the RH1 without blocking off the unit inputs I would have prefered a similar case in leather though
  21. I bought a brand new black LOWEPRO Slider 30' few minutes ago for 5 euros (including shipping) on ebay. I wanted the color to match with my silver RH1. But I must admit that the red version of that case is really gorgeous. I suppose that the Vivid function of your digital camera did help a bit Guitarfxr
  22. This case could be my next purchase. I'm just waiting for your pictures now Cheers.
  23. Thanks WOZ, can't wait to receive my new toy !
  24. Onkyo Md-133 here as well. Bought mine yesterday night.
  25. My Silver RH1 cost me 252 euros. I decided to sold it several months later for 190 euros. According to me, you're overvaluing your device. Just my two cents. Cheers. Franck.
