Today I introduce to you Sonicstage 3.2 - the full version, with Simple Burner 2, and a few other bug fixes recognized by the community to deliver the best possible Sonicstage experience. This version of Sonicstage doesn't feature the Connect music store. Throw this on a Hi-MD disc and you can now use Sonicstage anywhere, anytime. You can access this download in our downloads section, directly available here: http://forums.minidisc.org/downloads/details.php?file=21 Click here to register. Registered members ONLY can access the download - registration is easy, free, and only takes under a minute. A big thank you to Daijoubu for putting this together.

Perhaps a new version of Connect with P2P functionality for even more bug-ridden functionality and woes is on the horizon?
-
Welcome, imak. When you say "we", do you mean the horde over at AVforums? I will send Daijoubu another note, please be patient.

UPDATE: The PSP Firmware 2.0 Upgrade for the North American market will be available during the week of August 22nd.

Vaja has introduced the i-volution Wookie, a $60USD case for the NW-HD5. Learn more about it here. Wookie, huh? Chewbacca would be mad at the use of pelt for such a device!

Good story, friend. Let's continue discussion here: http://www.atraclife.com/index.php?showtopic=142

It's all based off the encryption based within the OMA's and stuff like that. Alot of this is alien to me, however. You can re-authorize within Sonicstage, though -- you just have to have an Internet connection to do it, I believe. It's within 'Tools' in Sonicstage.

Three devices, I believe? It'd be keen to know what version of Sonicstage he has on each computer. I believe if they were both 3.2 then these problems wouldn't occur, but I'm not exactly sure of it.

Welcome, Antoni. Your English is very well spoken for someone who considers it "badly". For the record, we are discussing the noises made by the unit when it is reading or writing to a disc, and how that sound sometimes is captured when you have a microphone too close to the unit. This has been an issue with most MD units for as long as I've known them, and a good reason to not employ those short mics that connect directly to the unit without a cable inbetween for those recordings that are extremely important fidelity wise. This is also a strong selling point of flash-based recording units.

Hat Trick For MDCF? - Service Mode + 2nd Gen Hi-MD
Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in Essential Hi-MD info/FAQ's.
What specific language support are you seeking? -
Read up on Hi-MD here: http://www.sony.net/Products/Hi-MD/
-
What battery are you using? If it's the one that came with the unit, perhaps you should try a higher capacity NH-14WM. Have you tried different headphones as well?
-
Sonicstage 3.2 won't do any wrongdoing to your PC, given your PC meets the specifications. Please upgrade to 3.2. If you have Windows XP, make sure you have Service Pack 2 before upgrading.

Welcome to the forums, Mitch. Is this a Minidisc unit, or a Sony ATRAC device? If it's not a Minidisc unit, please create a thread at our sister forum, ATRACLife Colloquium.
-
Definitely. I would recommend you upload what you need to via this method: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=7070
-
Extremely doubtful. I would upgrade to Hi-MD, perhaps a first generation unit as that interacts better with the older MD format.
-
Welcome. Do you see the song and artist names in Sonicstage before transferring?
-
Please summarize current issues with Hi-MD units so I can make sure they're nullified in the third generation. MP3 playback woes is not applicable to this topic, so please do not speak of them. If you cite a bug, please also report how to replicate it.
-
Have you tried C:\Program Files\Sony\SonicStage\Ojbsir.exe ? Also, what happens when you in Sonicstage and choose 'Tools' > 'Back Up My Library' and choose 'Restore my saved data to my computer'? I believe only the PSP can do this. Read more here. I'm going to test this tomorrow to see exactly how it works with Hi-MD, if at all.

Yes, it's refreshing to know we don't scare them off as fast. -
They will, but the fee is usually so high that it's not worth it.

Welcome to the forums. Make sure that when you right click on the file, you go to 'Properties', and then click on the 'Summary' tab. You may need to click on the 'Advanced' button to see the information atrain speaks of.

I can't even keep up with the amount of new users -- looks like we hit 16,000 the other day. Not too far from 20k.. -
Sony has been amazingly responsive in the last 12-24 months. Andrew has pointed out a good method to get in touch, but feel free to cite any other woes here. I will bring them to the attention of my American contact. p.s. Welcome, Andrew.

Welcome to the forums. This is not currently possible, sorry. Furthermore, no other Sony unit (even those released in 2005) have this capability. A shame, isn't it?
