Do You Like The New Default Skin?
Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in Comments + Suggestions
This is the final version pending any modifications. I do see the big numbers in the "My Controls", which is something I don't think I can change. You're very observant, though - I probably wouldn't have noticed that for another few days. -
Thanks bud. Don't hold back any comments you may have. And let's move this discussion to it's own thread: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=8335

Thank you for your vote and/or comment. Please take the time to give me your opinion.

I'd love to hear what people think of the new default skin. Not much of a color difference than the last, but much better aesthetically, in my opinion.

«cannot Locate The Required Program. Exiting This Program!»
Christopher replied to StEaLtH's topic in Software
Do your windows updates and get Service Pack 2. You may also want to reinstall via the directions in the FAQ. Also, what version of Sonicstage do you have? -
Great job, Ishi! I'll have to add that one to the FAQ.

Okay, I deleted the old thread concerning MDCF blogs as the webmaster is not really impressed with how Invision Blog can be manipulated for our needs. Anyway, it looks like Eric is keen on Slashdot's news type system, and will most likely replace the current news spread with the interface that slashdot employs. It will not fill the whole page [in the width sense], but be much more flexible than the system we had before. Additionally, this will alow multiple editors, including myself. More on this as it develops.

Am I The Only One Worried About Outsourcing To China?
Christopher replied to aeriyn's topic in The Loft
Absurd. Do you really feel that Bush represents us all? I voted for Kerry. p.s. Let's not turn this into an anti-Bush thread. Back on topic, please. -
You didn't read the article correctly. The line "A good soundcard is also recommended, and the cheapest solution with sound quality that outpreforms near-$150 sound cards is discussed here. "Here" was a link to this page: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=5165 ..which is a under $30 soundcard easily available online. --------- For future reference, as dex has said, you can only upload with USB with a Hi-MD unit only. I hope this is clear enough.

So, after you uninstalled completely the only thing you installed was Sonicstage 2.3?

I would, but the server's hardware is not ready for that yet. Perhaps when we do a server upgrade.. -

Isn't it great how the world works? Yay for democracy led by a complete moron. -
I purchased Refault, but the guy who develops these skins is going to modify it a bit so it's kinda like the Creamsicle, in the sense with big numbers, topic listing and so forth. This is really going to look hot and may become default by tonight. Very exciting.

Converting Nh900je Display To English

You're probably experiencing the joys of Sony's HD digital amp and it's mostly well-favored coloration of sound. It's a very nice unit indeed, and I'm glad you got a good battery for best preformance. Do you feel comfortable using the 40ELK? It seems to be either a hit or miss with most people. -

If the United States had a billion or so people barely above the poverty line I'm sure we'd be absorbing every other country in this sense as well. -
Welcome to the forums, doc. What unit did you get?
-
It actually may be the unit's firmware in question - perhaps you should send an e-mail to Sony? I really have no tips for you on this one, but I am interested in whatever resolution you may find.
-
Try using Marcnet's Hi-MD renderer. Much better at locating files, regardless of directory.
-
I really have no idea at all, mate. Sorry.

Install Sonicstage 2.1, and then install Sonicstage 2.3 on top of it, and yes, allow the program to facilitate the uninstall of 2.1. Is this a common issue? Hell yes. Is it mostly to the fault of Sonicstage? Probably not. Sony has irate customers until they come here. Why hasn't anyone pressed the issue? We're trying.
