There are quite a few! If you're really interested in buying one, give me a maximum budget and I'll give you a few recommendations.
-
You should try reading the FAQ, specifically: So basically, you need to obtain the drivers for your unit - install them first, and then install Sonicstage 2.3.

We actually hit 29,828 the other day. And with this note I write the first post to the new server. Very fast. We also have a new default skin and more activity than ever with the second generation of Hi-MD. This is a great start to the new year.
-
The migration to the new server has nearly finalized and things will go live either tomorrow or Monday. You will not believe how much faster things are going to be compared to what we've got now.

Do You Like The New Default Skin?
Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in Comments + Suggestions
She's posted once, but I forgot her username. I tried to get her active here, but she wasn't too keen on it. "Gee, thanks.." -
Very nice..too bad they aren't funding the Hubble any further. I look forward to it's replacement, for sure. To be honest however, our land telescopes and such are very close in quality to satellites, aside from the atmospheric effects though.
-
Read that more carefully. It's actually 132kbps ATRAC3.
-
What's the most you'd pay? So, would you sell your NH1 once obtaining a RH10?
-
I agree. It sure does look like the interface of the RH10 + RH910 is nearly identical to the HD1-3 series, but this makes me wonder if there will be a new set of woes from transcending that interface to MD. Guess it's time to read that HD3 manual..
-
So, with the announcement of second generation Hi-MD just off the block, I just wanted to inquire as to what you'd be buying, if buying anything at all. I think I'll go for a RH10.. [forsees all replies to be "I'm getting a RH10"]
-
I split this into a new topic as it wasn't really relevant to the new skin. Re: login; do you not have cookies set so you're always logged in? And also, what skin are you referring to?

Do You Like The New Default Skin?

Fair enough Andrew, I'll have my girlfriend whip something else up. She said you're quite demanding. -
I was pretty upset earlier, and the tone of my last post may have reflected that. I apologize, but it's not every day you see this kind of topic, and if you consider the work I've put into this place you can understand how it may have hurt me. I needed to come back to this statement, as it's been in the back of my mind most of the day. To each and every one of you who read this - let it be known that from this day forward, there is to be absolutely no hostility permitted in discussions that are critical of Minidisc as a format. If there is, the post will be deleted. If it continues, punishment will occur. In the future, please private message me before making such outlandish statements that can hurt the integrity of the forum [very immature, imho]. It was never my intent to create a discussion forum where people feel as Cori do, despite their situations in real life that may be clouding their thoughts.

From: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/4278005.stm 10,000 trillion trillion trillion watts! If we could've captured that power and used it, think of the posibilities! I'd condense it and never have to charge my NH900JE again!
-
Yep, but don't count on the existing units to be compatible with higher densities. This generation of Hi-MD is like legacy support; moving everyone in to the Hi-MD format before completely dissolving NetMD/etc completely.
-
Welcome, jase. 2.3 seems to be the most stable in terms of uploading live recordings.
-
This thread is done. Grow up - how old are you? We're looking for constructive and posts that are helpful in nature [and also in context], not fires.
-
Welcome to the forums indeed. Yes, it is compatible with the NH900, and yes, it will increase the time necessary for charging. You may want to look into an external charger, which is a much safer route. I sorta explain why in this post: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=7423

I think this post was made for attention amongst other things. My intent for this board is 110% the opposite of what Cori is describing. I have no qualms with non-MD product recommendations, non-MD talk, or anything else related. Whilst I understand that we do get carried away sometimes, you've truly become transparent with this one, Cori - or completely overrun by self-deception [which wouldn't be surprising as you've posted this at 2:17 am]. I have no need to babysit this topic as it's resulting content will probably be no different than the mere things that inspired this malady in the first place.

Do You Like The New Default Skin?
Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in Comments + Suggestions
Thank you for being honest, and I have brought back the old default skin; you may choose it in the usual place. Additionally, I would really appreciate it if anyone else could just spend a moment to comment on the new skin, espesically if it's negative [or something that needs to be worked on]. I need to know what's wrong with it so I can see what I can do about correcting such. -
Okay, got mine today [finally]. Same deal as Ishiyoshi - mine look sorta used though, maybe it's only the cases but I swear there is light wear on the batteries. They're also 1350mAh, not 1400 or 1450. What do you think, Ishi? p.s. Unbelieveable deal, regardless - you'd have to be a fool not to buy a couple.
-
Since you quoted what you said before, can you not understand what I stated? Or are you saying thanks to what I said? *confused*
