is actually next to the advanced settings...u should see an option saying something about SP recording for non-MDLP compatibility units. just click on that and u should be able to record in fake SP.

why not use another disk for data storage and another for music? do u put data and music on one disk?

how do u mean your battery is blocked inside? external gumstick battery chargers are not that rare....i just bought one.

i dont think is worth it to get it repaired, best bet is to get a new one.

hmm, ok. i have NiMH AA batteries, but i never need to do a full discharge before charging them. i mean once is on its last bar, i charge them. i HATE gumsticks.

can u try recording from another source like the mic in or the line in? sounds like it be your recording head is dead. what MD unit do u have?

i know this has probably been asked, but i recently bought the NH900 and i love the HD amp. and i also bought some GP battery charger and gumsticks from budgetbatteries.com for like $30 for two gumsticks and the charger. it doesn't seem like they last long. when i got them on Friday, i charged them. and didnt used my NH900 till tonite. i am already charging one of the gumsticks. the gumsticks have 1450mah charge....so my question is, does the HD Digital amp suck up the battery life? has anyone had any experience with the GP batteries and the NH900? i'm really disappointed with the battery life of the NH900 are there any better gumsticks out there?
