Merc, only because Audi is a fancy GM. MyLO vs. PSP
-
Can we lock/delete this topic? It's a repeat from one below, and is redundant. Besides, if you have 2.8 PSP firmware, it can play .3gp AAC files. Besides, if you're inclined to think that ATRAC is dead, and that no devices past, present, and future can play ATRAC files, by all means, rerip. No one is stopping you. (I can really add incendiary reply here, but I'll withold that for later)

Gold Pressed Latnium. Barring that, Gold Pressed Platnium. Black or Tan?

This was already covered on the front page of AtracLife several days back.

Ah-Di-Das. Ah, and personally, Vodka, Dirty. Olives or Cherries
-
Liberalism (by a thread) Vodka vs. Gin (in a Martini, of course). Bonus points for Clean vs. Dirty.

Actually, save for one chinese line of model that have not been released/seen the light/no one has, no Sony players support Drag and Drop. You can, however, use MP3 File Manager along with Grab Your Music. MP3FM allows for unidirectional file transfer (to unit only) while GYM allows bidirectional file transfers.

You might want to look into the MDR-EX90s, they seem to be (from my memory) a ducted version of E888s, and priced as such.

Hello, I'm Damage's newly begotten HD5. How do you do?

I hate to say it, but my home computer is flying a kite.

It's rather easy to go dual boot or use a LiveCD image of Ubuntu, pata2000. I still haven't done so yet, but I plan on doing so in the near future. I'd imagine that most of us would need to keep a dual boot box unless you have another box dedicated for Sony gear synchronization or are willing to fool around w/ WINE.
-
I don't believe they were sealed in any way when I received them from Buy.com. But then again, all the V6s had was a piece of scotch tape (Frys), so it will vary from store to store. But the boxes are the same, the headphones you have are ~99.99% legit. Using the plastic ties should be more than enough to mind your cables, and are cheaper than the other alternatives available (Which are mostly for portables).

Every bit of extra bass helps with E3s, though I've seen them be very bass friendly at one track only to be very bass shy on the next (all on a same DAP with no EQ, go figure). At anyrate, check w/ the usual suspects like Bizrate.com amongst others, and use a Credit Card just in case things go wrong.

The EX71/51s definiately packs a punch even with the underwhelming 5mW+5mW Sony Amps. Trust me, he's not getting a good seal or using undersized tips. And 16 ohms is not high impedance, not at all, considering that even the V6 (60 ohms) can pump out decent volume with portable Sony gear. In this case, the problem is getting a good seal.

You know, I'd like to know that "better phones" you purchased with Dome shape. It sounds like you got yourself a pair of EX51/71s, which has overpowering bass if anything else. And if that is the phone you purchased, then you're not getting the bass you want because of poor fit--those phones require a good fit with your ear canals for best Bass response. I have to guess you got yourself a pair of EX51s by the price of things, but without more detail, I can't say. If you had gotten a pair of earbuds for $40, it'd be something akin to E868s, a pair of earbuds that are known to rival full sized headphones of that price range. Try other bud types that came with the headphones and make sure that you get a good seal. Otherwise, you're getting less than ideal volume out of those. Trust me, the EX51s have more than enough bass.

I've seen pictures floating around that suggest price of $239, which is much closer to what I'd expect from a dual armature driver IEMs. The Shure E5s (left) are $500 and also uses similar tech, whereas the E3s (right) uses single driver and costs much less, $150. Other Dual Armature Driver headphones go for at least $250, and those includes the SuperFi 5 series. If Creative could reduce the price down to $100, then I'll be very impressed.

How about them Angolans? Man down and they still managed a tie with Mexico. Mexico was aggressive throughout the game but they couldn't capitalize against a very good Angolan goal keeper. Good stuff.

Would not be surprised at all. The Korean Media (even here in the US) is playing up the fact that Hiddink basically said that he'd beat the Japanese Team as a final parting gift of sorts to the Koreans. By doing so, he has literally cemented himself as a legend. I bet they're going to name elementary schools after him when all is said and done. 대한민국! (Clap-clap-clap-clap-clap) (Or if your browser can't display Korean at all, Dae-Han-Min-Guk! ) Thanks to the draw, I think Korea will make it to the round of 16 with a tie and a victory (very much pushing their luck with 2 ties, though it's a possibility). And pretty darn good game for Croatia v. Brazil. Would've liked to have seen an upset, and the Croats were very good being agressive (I didn't follow the game closely as I wanted to).
-
I need to catch the game on my DVR. I did manage to catch the last 4 minutes of each half (commute with no radio play by play)... Nonetheless, it was a necessary victory by Korea, they now have to face the French and the Swedes next. A Win vs. one and a Tie should help them advance to the round of sixteen (this assuming Either the French or the Swiss lose one of their games). And for slight bit of humor, I joked to my friend that Guus Hiddink has just become a person of (even more) legendary stature in Korea w/ the Aussie's victory over Japan Yesterday. Looks like the "Little General" Advocaat is doing the same. All he needs to do is out coach the French.

You know, I was hoping I'd have the chance last year to criss cross the country in a car, meeting some of the members here and there (should they wanted to share a pint or three with me). Or if any folks here are coming out to the Greater Los Angeles Area, hey I'm up for being a tour guide. As soon as I wash my car that is.

The Mighty Juggernaut that is the Czech's with their superior beer and brau is decimating the U.S. 3-Nil. Well, there goes the US hopes of making it out of group round. Not unless they pull off a miracle and beat Italy and Ghana convincingly.

Chillies (Chilies) -> Spicy Spicy -> Hot Hot -> Wasabi. So. Wasabi.

Say Goodbye to the Nano, since someone was nice enough to walk off with it... On the other hand, this does give me something of an excuse to replace it, not just yet...

You've not heard Bass until you've heard SuperFi Flavored Bass. IT's delicious, with hint of oregano and thyme to tie in all the flavors with the buttery sauce.
