Good. I want to see who's the brave agent who'll check all the 3000 plus songs on each Ipod? Who's going to pay for that? Can the tourism afford that? What if I can provide proof I do own those songs legally? Will they go through every single receipt?
LOL, RIAA and MPAA.

I offered the MD to her because I wasn't sure you wanted it, Greenshank, apologies. It's still yours.
-
One option would be to send your disc to someone with an RH1 and have him/her send your disc back, along with a CD/CDRom containing your files in WAV or Hi-SP.
-
I am selling an NH900 in very good shape. If a previous buyer doesn't like it, it's yours. It comes with five 1GB discs.
-
Ahem.. check the classifieds thread.
-
Greenshank, give me your postal code so I can get you a good quote.
-
Why don't you just convert your personal recordings to WAV, and use another app to make a CD?
-
Are you still desperate?
Suggest a price to Australia.
170 USD plus ship? I am selling it at cost.
-
You know, I just realized that non-closing unit would be PERFECT for TOC cloning and saving accidentally erased SP-discs.

270 is what I paid for my used RH1 without the mic. I'd still call this a very good deal. Good luck man, it seems sales have slowed down a little all over ther forum.
-
Come on, somebody buy it, guys. I'll offer free shipping within the USA!
-
That sounds good too. As long as they keep the hi-quality amps and stuff (meaning, just replace the MD with another type of media), and unencumbered uploads, I'm happy.
-
JetAudio can convert from FLAC to WMA9 Lossless. Sonicstage can handle those just fine.
-
You should un-DRM all your library and back it up so you don't have to deal with that stupid authentication and restoration business. The only thing worse than an outdated DRM system that can be bypassed completely, is to keep on using that outdated DRM system that can be bypassed completely.
-
The disc could be bad as well. Especially if it's one of the first-gen blanks.
-
Sony shoud make a low-cost version of the RH1. Do we really need OLED displays and LI-Ion batteries on a recorder to make it work? Of course not. Just something that can take gumsticks and/or AAs, mic and line input, and the ability to upload SP recordings.
-
I have an NH900, pretty good condition. I've had several dealings here in the forum, and the others can vouch for me. Interested? 175 USD plus ship.
EDIT: Pics here. http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=20961

I could, but I'd rather have a fellow Forumite get it first.
-
No response from buyer.
THIS UNIT IS STILL AVAILABLE, FOLKS!
BUMP!
-
Sonicstage will accept WMA files and convert them to ATRAC, as long as there is no DRM on the original files.
-
How about you talk to the parents themselves? A bit of American "in your face" attitude may get them to discipline their kids.
-
You know, a presentation card works wonders on those.
-
You may be better off buying an used, or broken unit of the same type and cannibalize it. Cheaper, and easier to find than the part alone.

And for the love of all that's holy AND unholy, don't touch those HMA files, or you run the risk of losing your recordings forever.
