  1. All right, we need more info.

First, if you used the included CD to install Sonicstage, you're using the old version. Get SS 4.3

    What OS?

The "imported my library to the software" doesn't sound too clear. If you mean you imported existing songs to SonicStage to build a library, then that's okay. Is the disc a blue Hi-MD, or one of the first generation black and red ones (those tend to die on people on a whim). How are you transferring data? Is SS open when you try to transfer data (documents and such) to the hi-Md as if it was a floppy using drag and drop?

Can you take screen captures (printScrn and then paste on MSPaint, save as JPEG, then post here) so you can show us, step by step what you're doing?

I suggest you first connect the unit, wait until it's recognized. Close any Explorer windows that open, THEN fire up SonicStage.

  2. Try XP. I recall some versions of Sonicstage messing up NetMD on Vista. On the other hand, the player may be busted. Does it do the same, regardless if the disc is blank or already recorded? The optical block may be kaput, or the ribbon that connects such block to the PCB may be frayed, that's why nothing is getting to the main processor in the unit.

  3. Hi. I am getting rid of my old NH900, need a better, newer unit. SOLD!

This unit has given me years of good service. It's in fully working condition. Only flaws are cosmetical, and just because of that, you're getting this baby for a song!

Box, cradle, AA battery case, all cords, headphones, backlight remote, toslink cable and box (not shown). The unit came with an Euro AC 240V adapter (probably for Australia), and an adapter to use it with US voltage. I will also include another AC adapter designed for US voltage, if you want it, from an NHF800. Works just fine with that. I will throw in one extra gumstick battery and one blue HI-MD disc. (The first-run black HI-MD crapped out on me.)

The front and back of the case have some scratches, product of not carrying the unit in a protective pouch (I will try and find this for you), visible in the blurry photos below. (Forgive my Olympus XD CrappyCam 500)

Last December I saw it on Ebay, and it was going for 200 USD or more. Just because of its cosmetical condition, you can take it for 160 USD, plus shipping and handling. I can accept paypal and Money order. Euro, Canada and Australian buyers welcome, will only take paypal. But please, please, please DO NOT USE A CREDIT CARD with PP. PM for details.

The HD Digital Amp on this unit produces cleaner, purer, more intense sound than anything else I've tried out there. If you have one of those high-end headphones from Shure or Etymotic, and combine it with the customizable built-in Equalizer, you'll be in digital audio heaven with this machine. Take this baby out of my hands and give it a loving home, as it's sitting here neglected by me. Only caveats are the scratches and the lack of carboard inserts in the box.

PM if interested. You will NOT regret making of the NH900 your workhorse recorder. For 20 extra dollars, I'll send you a mostly mint, in the box MZ-E35 SP-only player unit. Get it, because it must GO GO GO! SOLD!

  4. Not to create another thread.

People, give this guy your money. Safely packaged, lots of goodies, in ABSOLUTELY MINT AND PRISTINE CONDITION items is what you will get when you deal with him. KUDOSx3 to him. Thanks for the NH600, remote and extra headphones.

  5. My lovely NH900 got a horrible scratch in the front, thanks to me sticking it on a backpack and not paying attention to what was inside.

So I want one to serve as replacement, and keep this one as a backup unit.

Let me know. I'd prefer dealing with USA and Canada sellers.

    Thanks.
