I have the bigger remote, and really like the 3 line text thing. Yes it is a bit bulky... but it is much better than only 1 line of display and waiting 30-40secs for all the text to be scrawled across the screen

Pitty that this unit only lasts 15 hrs compared to the other 32 hr unit

OMG!! they all look sooooo good! The only down side I can see is that the remote screens are so thin.... 1 liner When I go to Eurpoe at the end of this yr, I think I'll buy the latest model

They really should make larger disc sizes. With a camera now, your not going to go round with the MD JUST for the camera, so you would have music on the 1GB discs.... so then if it was me, I migtht have room for say 2MB of pictures PLEASE create larger discs Sony PLEASE! Anyone got any pictures of the new MD with the built in Camera?

Om my NH1, the bottons on the unit are so small and bloody complex to use I don't ever use my unit buttons, except for recording I always use the remote

If you mean you plugged the NH1 into a Hi-Fi system using a 'stereo-mini plug' (this is the plug i use) http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?cata...%5Fid=42%2D2551 into the Hi-Fi system, then yes I have done this. The sound was good, as when I bought my mini Hi-fi system I was sure to check the speakers produced good quality sound. The good thing is that you have 2 volume controls if you like so it can get quite loud, which ain't always bad I still have this set up for when I am doing study or something in my room, as the radio can get boring. If only the 'random' play worked properly, then it would be quite good!

Yeh the thread has merged. Can i just say, that I did a search for Happy Birthday in the forums, and it returned 27 pages of threads, which the 1st 3 pages didn't have any Birthday Threads, so that is why I started a Birthday thread! Maybe get the search to search a bit better? Hope this all makes sense...

Just thought that now the new forum has the date thingy going, so that when it is someone’s birthday, a message comes up down the bottom of the home page wishing him or her a happy birthday... Thought it might be nice for people to say happy birthday to them. In this case HAPPY BIRTHDAY D-EJ915, who is 18 today! I will be 18 this year as well and can't wait!

I recon you should have waited the exta month or so, and bought the 2nd Gen MD's. But it you are happy with what you have, then that is the main thing, and for such a good price. Well done

I haven’t bothered buying the HL2 Packs and that but 1 of my mates has and says the graphics are awesome. A good headset and mic... what I had was a headset and mic, but only used the mic because the headset was so poor a quality. Yeh here here Nismo96, the more music I can carry with me in the less space the better. I don't know why people don't want 5GB discs, because the more space they have, the more music they can fit on, and the less discs they have to have lying around the place. :| My opinion

I hope that everything listed in this thread is included, because there are some excellent ideas, that I don't see why Sony (unless completley stupid) wouldn't want to add to their MD's to increase their market share of the music market! Sometimes you have to make a loss in sales revenue to then make a gain in the market. If that makes any sense

Yeh, at the moment I can fit about 150 songs onto my 1gb disc, at the highest ATRAC3plus bitrate. I would like to fit more songs on, as I have a lot of brass band music, which takes up LOTS of room, so 5GB would be ideal!

The TOP button is better , but not as noticeable now, even with the flashing arrow . Maybe use a colour that compliments blue? Like red, lite red, lite purple... something which just makes it look different, but not a strain on the eyes.
