  1. Nice.... this is just what we "Star Destroyers" need!
  2. I think they are all classy so to speak; I have no specific preference over the other in terms of design. Nonetheless, here are my impressions for the units discussed within this thread: NH1 - love its sleek industrial design; just love the way the gold scheme accentuate the brushed magnesium shell. EH1 - you are quite right, the black scheme with its silver "crescent" does add a touch of sophistication to the unit. E10 - love its minimalist industrial design; especially its subtle sleek curves. While we are on the topic of design, I would like to add that such unique designs and utilization of materials is what makes Sony's MD units really "like-no-other."
  3. The HD Amp employed by the EH1 gives extra warmth over E10's Digital Amp. They are indeed different. However, bwerbrou enquired if there were any differences between the EH1 and NH1. Likewise.
  4. Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy the pictorial.
  5. The EH1 and the NH1 sound identical in my opinion. To my ears, there are no discerning differences to note.

Welcome to MDCF! Unfortunately, the unit you have just acquired is a player only unit. The "E" designation denotes player only unit and it has no recording capability. For your reference, please refer to this "Equipment Designation Guide" thread for further information. In addition, please use the MiniDisc Equipment Browser in your quest for a recording unit.

  9. For the RH10, I would recommend either the following remotes: 1) RM-MC40ELK 2) RM-MC35ELK (*the Japanese RH10 comes bundled with color matching RM-MC35ELK) 3) RM-MC55ELK *Please refer to our "Guide To Sony LCD Remotes" for further details regarding each remotes and our "Pictorial/Review" section for pictures of the remotes. Availability of these remotes depends upon your location. If you are in the States, they are not available in any SonyStyle store. The best deal for the abovementioned remotes is at eBay.
  10. We are sorry about that. All contents within the forum was reverted to 9/10/2005; hence the lost of some posts.
  11. The E10 is a tad slimmer and significantly lighter than the EH1.
  12. It's simple. Upon entering the menu (by holding the menu button on the RM-MC40ELK remote for a few seconds): 1) Select: 各種設定 / Option 2) Within "Option," scroll down and select: 表示言語 / Language 3) Select: 英語表示 (English Language) Which color scheme did you purchased? I have the black unit --> click here. Well, enjoy your new toy.
  13. That's right ... because I can. Actually, I am a collector of unique gadgets and in addition, I like to have the option to alternate my playback device - in my opinion it helps to lessen usage on just one optical block.

  16. Welcome to MDCF! --> Yes, that correct. Highly plausible. Not certain; it's best to confirm with MZ-N710's service manual prior to any service code edit.
  17. Welcome to the forum. You can certainly obtain the NW-HD1's cradle and adapter from eBay --> click here. For your reference, please post all non-Hi-MD/MD queries at our sister forum: ATRACLife Colloquium.
  18. That's rather cumbersome then. Well, I reckon you are left with only two alternatives: 1) you will have to set cover arts accordingly before you re-transfer those tunes. I am sorry that you have to do this all over again. or 2) take an instant picture of the cover art with the DH10P and set it accordingly to the designated tunes.
  19. @ chenfurfur: Are you able to resolve the problem?
  20. In that case, you can always transfer the cover art (jpeg file) in question and set them accordingly to the designated tunes.
  21. 1) Radiohead | Pablo Honey LP 2) Radiohead | OK Computer LP 3) Radiohead | Kid A LP 4) Coldplay | X&Y LP
  22. Welcome to MDCF! Please read page 41 of your operating manual - Cover Art Setting: "Setting a Still Image as the Music Cover Art." You should be able to set cover art to tunes already transferred.
