Can you or cant you record in true SP on new Hi-MD
Ishiyoshi replied to watcher666's topic in Minidisc
As richyhu states, it's a misprint. You can't record in true SP mode with all 2nd generation Hi-MD units; but you can definitely playback previously recorded tunes in true SP mode. -
Just for your reference: the PSP can utilize all existing and new ATRAC3plus bit rates (some Network Walkman such as the NW-E99 can utilize all the new ATRAC3plus bit rates as well); and being the only ATRAC device with the ability to transfer ATRAC tunes encoded from one PC to another. For further details, please visit our sister forum: ATRACLife Colloquium.

Sure, why don’t you start the ball rolling?

I watched Oldboy recently as well - this film is brilliant but disturbing at the same time - bringing the notion of revenge to a new level. *By the way, we already have a "What Was The Last Movie You Saw?" thread; post moved accordingly.

Welcome to MDCF! The RM-MC40ELK does support group display; but I believe it does not support "Group Skip" (*"Group Skip" via the unit only): please review our Sony MD LCD Remotes Guide or refer to MZ-NH1's manual for further details regarding the RM-MC40ELK.

I think it's plausible to say that one can't utilize the new USB AC-U50A with the MZ-RH series. This is simply because the AC Adaptor required to power the MZ-RH series is rated at 3V whereas the new USB AC-U50A is rated at 5V – using the latter with the RH series is simply dangerous.

That is an interesting conjecture. However, even though the dimensions of the E400/500 appear to be identical to Fujifilm’s xD card drive, I can assure you that this is not the source of the E400/500 series’ inspiration. An interview piece (available from SonyStyle Japan) with the developers of the E400/500 series proves otherwise. When time permits, I will provide you guys with a translated piece (from Japanese) of the "Sony NW-E400/500 Developer's Story."
