In order to rebuild or reconstruct the MZ-N710's original default settings, you will need the MO disc. The part number for the MO disc should be located within the "Electrical Adjustments" section of the MZ-N710’s service manual; likewise, instruction to rebuild or reconstruct default settings as well. However, I would strongly advise you to send your unit for immediate repair.

Yes, relatively easy. I use Photoshop to edit the picture to my liking and create the icon itself with Microangelo or Stardock's Icon Developer. --> Edit the picture in question with Photoshop and ensure that its background is set as transparent --> save as .png --> proceed with software such as Microangelo or Stardock's Icon Developer to create the icon. *The ideal size for Windows Explorer use is indeed 48x48.

That's absolutely correct. You will need to have both the icon and its corresponding autorun.inf file in every MD disc you wish to employ.

This is really a subjective opinion: I would say that the HD Amp employed in units such as the EH1 and NH1 provides extra warmth over the RH10's Digital Amp. However, this is not significant because there's no discerning difference in detail. Both the EH1 and NH1 along with the RH10 offer good soundstage, clarity and detail. Therefore, I reckon it is fair to say that neither Amp employed in their respective units out performs the other in terms of sound quality - it would be a matter of listening preferences. *read further in this thread regarding Digital Amps.

The MZ-RH10 does not have a HD Digital Amp; it employs a Digital Amp instead.
