Ishiyoshi replied to Christopher's topic in Minidisc
Definitely. Service codes required to unlock the EU Volume Limiter on the units you have indicated: N910 and N710 do exist. However, we do not have these service manuals at the moment. -

The best route usually is to reinstall - please refer to MDCF's Hi-MD/NetMD Software FAQ As a note of interest: you may want to read this thread as well.

Welcome to MDCF. For your reference, the CD-R Writing Module should read as such within your SonicStage registry: if it's different, edit it accordingly. locate --> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sony Corporation\SonicStage\CDR

Did you read atrain's instruction? --> You can download Simple Burner 2 in the download section: click here

I would suggest you try the following procedure: 1. Go into Device Manager and expand the "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" group. 2. Uninstall every device listed under this group (right click on device, left click uninstall) 3. Be sure all USB devices are unplugged! 4. Restart Computer 5. Upon restart the computer will recognize all the devices and install them. 6. Plug in your device and see if it works. Good luck.

Sparky, Sparky.... you've been double posting lately. Please click only once. As for your query: If I remember correctly, the N920 incorporates a digital amp; otherwise it's identical to N910.

Please use the search utility for further details regarding the RH10 and RH910; there are various threads within the forum that explain the technical difference and regional accessories for the units in question. For starters, I would suggest that you review our pictorials for RH10 ~ only the Japanese edition comes bundled with color coded RM-MC35ELK remote; and all recent remotes (such as MC55ELK, MC40ELK, MC38ELK, MC35ELK ... ) works just fine with the RH10. If you need further details regarding remotes, please refer to our Sony LCD Remote Guide.

Welcome to ALC, iyareu. To my knowledge, the VAIO Pocket for the European market does not have the volume limiter in accordance to EU Law. In addition, its service manual has no indication of the volume limiter as well. Unless you have information that it does, please let us know. *Note: we would like to keep the thread: "Boost the volume of the NW-HD# series" strictly on topic, post moved.

@ SonyHiMD: please use the search utility for further information regarding the RH10. The US RH10 only comes in black and both the pictures above are identical - the slight color difference is due to lightning.

Most likely, yes.
