  1. Welcome to ALC. First of all, what firmware version do you have installed on your PSP? Please note that you will need to upgrade your PSP with firmware v2.0 to use ATRAC3plus on a Memory Stick Pro Duo. In addition, SonicStage 3.2 is required to facilitate the transfer. Note of interest: Please review the following threads for details and impressions about PSP firmware 2.0 – 1 and 2. For SonicStage 3.2 – read: 1 and 2

  13. Sorry to hear that you had to initialize your unit everytime you update SonicStage. From my experience, you do not need to initialize your ATRAC Audio Device if you use SonicStage JE version. Perhaps, installing the Japanese overseas model SonicStage 3.2 (English edition) would help. click here. Nonetheless, since this is a non-MD issue, please refer your query to our sister forum: ATRACLife Colloquium. Thread closed.
  14. Yes, I have seen it before. It's quite a marvel - about the size of two DVD case. I would get one if I can find its brethren - the U71P or U750P.
  15. Unfortunately, removal of Mp3s (or even ATRAC) will nevertheless be somewhat tedious. However, if you view "My Library" by "View all tracks," you can have a “birds eye” view so to speak as to which track is of Mp3 format. Accordingly, select multiple tracks by holding down the “Ctrl” button while selecting the Mp3s in question. When you are satisfied with your selection, you can remove/delete those tracks at one go. Voila
  16. Unfortunately, region restriction on UMD Video will remain regardless if you flash your US PSP with a Japanese firmware.
  17. Yes, that is indeed the best deal from sellers that are willing to ship internationally.
  18. It's not defective - you will need to push the cradle's support bracket in place to lock it so to speak.
  19. You do not have to delete the mp3; just remove it from the library and re-import the ATRAC3plus track you have converted. You should be able to transfer your desired ATRAC3plus without any issues to your device.
  20. @ sulk: Please run a search within the forum regarding the pros and cons of the MZ-RH10 - there are many threads including pictorials and reviews about the RH10. As for the NW-HD5, I would advise you to refer your questions to HD5 users at our sister forum: ATRACLife Colloquium.
  21. @ batfastad: Please refer to our Sony LCD Remote Guide for further details.
  22. In that case, you can only use the 192kbps.
  23. Which ATRAC device do you employ? Please note that only a few ATRAC device such as the NW-E99 and the PSP can utilize all the new ATRAC3plus bit rates. If you use the NW-HD5, the only new ATRAC3plus bit rate you can use is the 192kbps.
  24. AXIA MD | J'z - "You Can Get" 2003 Series The 2003 J'z: "You Can Get" series from AXIA. Available in five color scheme - blue, green, red, yellow and white.
