i find these cases annoying; but intriguing. they collapse on me in the middle of a job; or project. i prefer the Tupper Ware ones, simple but milky. i must own about 700 cases, and the simple ones "Rule". i have yet to ever use an index card from these cases; prefer two Avery stickers; but when the cases collapse; you have to jam a screw driver up into the case to re-configure it.! Figure it.! (::!!)

love to listen to trance; ambience; and ambulatory music; lol's it relaxes my alreay over-driven mind; and i have (I would say) a pretty vast collection) hidden in the vaults of my non-performance DJ cases. that said; i sometimes add this gendre of music ove Rock and girly DVD's cause their music sucks. like my Rush R-30 concert (audio) over Bond (the four gorgeous classical blonde violinists); a bit out of sync; but what you see makes up for it.

Listening to my own Audio/Video Re-mix of Rush's R-30;; some DVD-tracks have the audio from the original CD and not the DVD;; and all tracks have "Visual EFX" layered, superimposed;; and twitched in and out to make a psychodelic (sp) visual and original video mix of the concert; i wouldn't have it any other way; "ordinary is just too ordinary.! The guys in Rush really look great in the middle of the ocean; or; in the middle of a burning fireplace; i'd say it is a vast improvement in their looks; at leaast i don't have to look at their stupid washing machines and soda disburser (sp) cursur at the ready. (::!!)

thanks a lot, blueraja. yes that answers my question. my piano student was over and saw your pic and said "Mystery Men" ? i guess she is referring to the pic & the movie. she is gonna let me borrow the movie this weekend. oh, and by the way, my Hi-MD900 really sounds and does great going into my NEW (Sima SFX-9 Vedeo Effects Mixer). (Aux-in, that is. i am ready to take it on the road. ::!!

can these units shut off the display light; so as to conserve battery life? that is, do you have to have the display light on? i could use one more personal Hi-MD unit just for banging around.

Great newzz:: i was interested in both;; use too much md's lately;; just bought three DVD recorders to start taking MD's jobs in my studio;; considering the R-1 and the others;; but guess DVD'ing is now my "Bagg";; and it's gonna be MD'ing and DVD'ing combination.. i speak as a "Pro" and not an MD'er;; but soon i may be like yous;; and just enjoy..
