  1. ive got nod32 installed, and thers an option to have it active but i havent bothered. I know norton interenet security also comes with an email filter tool.
  2. yeah, you could always find out how to disable notification of an attempt to hack your computer. btw, (by the way), atm means at the moment
  3. not sure if i mentioned it in this thread, but speaking of cpu's., my x2 4600 arrived and i installed that good chance your ports are a bit too obvious to others on the net. Maybe running some dodgy sharing app? Get a better internet security package? what do u have atm? Im using NOD32 atm, but kapersky is supposed to be very good too.
  4. you've tried different discs right? O would try a minidisc lense cleaner, sony and tdk do them, audiocubes has them. IMO if you REALLY like the direct cd to md thing of your deck, get it repaired if you can. If you already have a cd deck, then just get the jb980 or an ES deck from ebay or something. Like many decks the jb980 has 'music sync' (adds track marks where optical signal says to).

  6. damn!! Just installed my firewire 800 card to use with my lacie 160gb, and it can now transfer 700mb to my local disc in,.,...FIFTEEN SECONDS

  17. Yes, but not in europe. Onkyo make them. You can get one from www.audiocubes.com, or buyfromjapan.com or another website that imports stuff exclusive to japan to the rest of us.
  18. there isnt lol, im just saying what i assumed it meant as ive got a 'bookshelf' micro system, and those are the apprx dimensions. The dimensions of my unit is pretty close to other units that are supposedly bookshelf units so lol.

  21. I was just wondering, My olympus 5mp camera, c50 zoom; when you view the images at 100% on the computer, they are pretty grainy; see uploaded image; thats on max quality setting.
