    PlayStation 3

Hey Jerex welcome ! I understand there is potential, I for one would love to *keeps ranting* save some money for it but since there are more priorities like college, etc. then I'm afraid I won't be able to buy it for a while. Paying $712 is no easy chore (you paid less and that translates you being happier than the rest lol), yes granted, there is potential but the ticket to experience it is um...well you know, enough ranting. I do think the PS3 is the most advanced console of the three. I grabbed my brother's X360 and in my opinion physically it feels cheap, the media functionality is good, yeah, but I have a preference towards the PSP's (and now PS3's) interface. I am very glad on how you're seeing the PS3's value factor (some just see the price nothing else) but we must also see those who only want a games console and not a media center. Technology advances and Sony is full of it, they just need to think more about those who can't pay more than $300 or $400, the rest is smooth sailing as long as good games come for the console.

    PlayStation 3

I for one would love to have one right now (the 60GB version of course) for many reasons. What is holding me back is the price and since it costs $600 plus taxes...totalling $642 or so...and I will obviously buy the extended warranty which costs $70....totalling $712 . Nah I guess I'll wait until Sony drags down that price, it's just too much to ask. I know I am whining about the price and the fact that that console costs even more on some other countries, but Sony needs to lower that as soon as possible or they will face serious consequences. I miss the old days when a console costed $300...but now two of the three consoles are more like media centers and so they are asking for more money, sad but true .

    New iPods

Well I have the NW-E507 (chrome) and it's more than a year old. I use it everyday and I must say it still impresses me sound wise and battery wise. I left it alone for the whole month of June (because I was using the PSP at that moment, was testing battery life) and when I turned it on it still had 3/4 of battery which is impressive. I have listened to the Nano's sound and it is not impressive in my opinion, I agree it sounds flat. I use Sony MDR-Q55, those are my headphones. My battery usually lasts around 43 hours and I use MP3s and ATRAC at different bit rates (no I don't use 48kbps bit rate that's horrible). I'm on my way to buy the NW-S705FBLACK and I know it won't disappoint. I'm just curious at the NC, Clear Stereo, Clear Bass and VPT functions and I've always dreamed of a color OLED display on my DAP. SonicStage is pretty cool and very functional imho, version 4.2 has never failed me. I also use iTunes to listen to my tracks because it has an EQ and yeah that program is cool...it's just that it sometimes, although rarely, slows down. Thanks for your attention.
  5. SonicStage recognizes Memory Sticks regardless of brands so go for the 4GB one. About the battery life...can't really say (depends on how you use it, brightness level, if the screen is on or off, etc)....cuz I no longer use my PSP as my music player ever since I brought the NW-E507 (better audio quality).
  6. .wma (Windows Media Audio) files go in the 'MUSIC' folder because they're audio files not video.
  7. Hi there people, this is the first time I post here but lets get to the point. I have had SonicStage 3.2 for a while because 3.3 and now 3.4 gave me a particular problem with the OpenMG Secure Module. I installed 3.4 yesterday and when I tried to use it today, the system tells me to locate the "OpenMG Secure Module.msi" file. The program doesn't want to open because of that. Even if I click Cancel, the installer begins looking for the file again and again. If needed, my PC stats are: Windows XP SP2 (with all updates), 256MB RAM, 2.55 GHz CPU. Any help would be greatly appreciated. P.S. Um...I'm currently looking for the SS3.2 Full Installer but I can no longer find it
