Looking for mini deck with NetMD, newest DSPGood morning! Question: Are there any late model mini-deck recorders with NetMD (or other PC-linked titling capability) that'll record from optical using a type R or S DSP? Long version: I have a 7700-MDX deck in the car and I am currently recording discs for it via optical output on the PC, using SonicStage to sort and label tracks, using my NH900 portable recorder. The NH900 is a little fiddly, with buttons that require dedication to use, a screen that's hard to read in all lighting conditions, and a frustrating menu system with functions split between device and remote. Also I'm worried about wear and tear. So I was hoping for a mini deck that'd sit on a shelf and give me the same or similar functionality. But I'm not having much luck finding a late model mini deck with these features. Does one exist, or will I have to find a standard sized deck? And even then, I'm not clear on which models, if any, might meet my needs. Your suggestions are appreciated.

MusicBringer posted a topic in MinidiscHello Folks, I still use my MZ-NH900. Trouble is I cannot switch it off. By that I mean when I need to turn it off the Cancel button no longer turns the machine off. Any ideas please. Unexpected error - MZ-NH900 - Gutted!
stevecarter posted a topic in SoftwareHi folks, I have had an MZ-NH900 for a while, and it has never given me any problems before. I use SonicStage version 4.3.01.14050. A few hours ago I was working on some vital music recordings made yesterday, deleting un-needed ones from the disc through Sonic Stage. After successfully deleting a number of them, I then had a message stating that one I had tried to delete could not be deleted. I then tried to access some of the remaining tracks, but was unable so to do. I shut down SonicStage and re-launched it and, when it connected to the MZ-NH900 again this message appeared in the window:- "Cannot use this disc as an audio disc because it was initialized by a program other than Sonic Stage." Can anyone please tell me how I can recover from this terrible position? A number of other good folk depend on me for this, and there is no chance of repeating the recordings. I can access the .hma files and others on the disc via the USB cable and Windows Explorer. Looking forward to hearing from anyone who can offer words of assistance. Peace and all good. Stephen Carter
