yamagatacamille
pretty simple. i'm a sucker for Shania Twain and Mariah Carey music. it's addictive -- though controlled. what's your (musical) guilty pleasure?
SlowMo
Shania Twain -- huh, that needs to be controlled... mine is "flash & gordon", outstanding german synthie pop that has kind of embarrassing lyrics, very emotional. i can´t describe it properly, check their website(currently offline) if you´re interested.edit: i asked the producer of the site, and he told me, that their (evil-major-) label wasn´t satisfied with the sales, and took them offline. but he upploaded an offline version of the site, just for us. dex Otaku
Guilty pleasures.. mostly 80s stuff.i.e. Boomtown Rats, Level 42, OMD, older Depeche Mode..I also have a largish Harry Connick Jr. collection [maybe 7-8 albums].My vinyl collection is where most of my "you own THAT?" albums are. A lot of synthpop and industrial from the 80s.

Bananatree
Old/international pop gets to me.Wham!, Ayumi Hamazaki, O-Zone (Dragostea Din Tei is amazing), Depeche Mode, Duran Duran. Then I get just plain lame and pump up some Gwen Stefani, and dance my pants off. I guess it just proves how retardedly catchy Gwen really is. tartan
listening to the sounds of public transport while on public transport, also listen to homemade public transport recordings, can also remix the sound into music but successful mixes isn't easy to make. On "real" music, it's heavy metal, rock, gangsta raps, some raves and dance and unusual music. There's very little overlap with the others at home (who all got similar tastes). It goes in every direction.fear factory, linkin park, eminem, 100 percent hits albums, anime soundtracks, computer game music, tv and movie themes (mainly scifi) and too much more Edited March 20, 2005 by tartan
