Hi,

Is there a place where I can find blank Hi-MD media icons? I'd like to associate the hi-md disc icons for some of my custom discs. I tried to make one myself, but the transparent pixel got me puzzled. I don't know how to do it (create an icon).

I will prepare a few shortly. Check back in a few days - meanwhile, the icons for the HiMD 1GB media is up for preview in the first post of this thread,

Hi, great service providing us with these icons. I modified one of the RH710 icons to fit with my RH710/L. Basicly changed the color to blue. Can I publish the icon here, or would it violate someones copyright on the original icons?

EDIT:

Ok then, here it is:

You can download the .ico file from: www.yoda-143.de/rh710-03.ico

I'm glad you have enjoyed the icons. You can definitely share with us your edited version within your original post.

Cheers, ;)

Good job. I do use the icons for my music-related files. Now, if some icons can be made from designer discs... some TDK BitClubs maybe... that would rock.

Ishiyoshi: You are awesome. Thanks! :D

No offense, but seriously, slow down. Ishiyoshi isn't a professional icon-maker and this isn't MDCF Icon Factory. That's a very large request so why not make some of your own? Your last link leads to a page that contains a tutorial for making icons. You love minidisc and rarely post on this forum so making icons would be a way to give back to the MDCF community.

Here's the site from your link: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default..../winxpicons.asp

Thanks for the commments guys. I may update the BitClubs with a larger version shortly. :)

@ILoveMinidisc: I will try and accomodate to these new requests at a later date - respective .ico and .png will be made in 128x128 size. You may want to pm me those scans as well; especially Memorex SG and Xeus.

Update: Standard TDK BitClub Series Media has been updated with a larger .ico set: 128x128 size.

As for ILoveMinidisc's requests, I've prepared Sony Bianca 2004 MD Series - both in .ico [128x128] and .png [256x192]. Not my favorite icons set, but it should look decent as docklets. As usual, the download link is within the first post of this thread.

Stay tuned for the rest and do enjoy the current icons. ;)

yoz guyz.. I made a portable application shortcut launcher for my Hi-MD, so i won't have to browse through the file directory everytime i want to run something.

I also added the wonderful icons here, and my program will automatically detect if the removable drive it is residing on is a Hi-MD.

Press "Install on this drive" and my application will allow you to chose hi-md icon you want and automatically create the autorun.inf file.

oops.

the url is here: http://weikiat.ikueb.com/tinycomp.html

Woah, well done..

Do you have a blue wavy disc?

I have a blue one I could supply you with a scan of it - or at a later date I could make one - if you don't have one, well I'll see what I can do with the label... :D

PM me a scan at your earliest convenience and I will upload it to the thread accordingly. ;)

I'm partial to the Bit Clubs myself. ;) I would download the other MD designs, but there's so many of the TDK BC that I have yet to use even 1/4 of them.
