Mr_Bass_Man
Elder son (18yo) was the first in the house with MD - he has an MZ-N707, now much battered and bruised, but still working (I've had to replace 3 of the case screws for him).Younger son (16yo) is on his second Creative Zen (4GB I think) - the first failed in warranty (intermittent headphone out socket - looks like a design flaw to me)Wife has an MZ-N510, but doesn't use it much (MD's "too complicated") I have ... well ... an an " ... obsession"

KrazyIvan
Not everyone lives with us but they are family. My wife will occasionally barrow one of my MD players. My neice (she lives with us) has an MP3 CD player. My brother (lives in NC, USA) has my old Sharp MD-MT170 MD recorder and an MP3 CD player from the Sharper Image. My mom uses an N510. Tiesto
Well some of my family members have digital portables, all of them because of me: I gave the Sony NF610 and the Sharp DS70 to my brothers, they love them. I made my sister to buy a Panasonic SL-SV550 (cd/mp3/radio player) and a SD 512MB memory for her Palm so she can carry her music on the pda as well. One of my cousin wanted a mp3 player and at that time there was a good offer for a mini iPod (the HD3 was more expensive and complicated for her) so we bought it, actually she did it . The last year, I gave as a present a Panasonic SL-SV550 to another cousin on her birthday. I think that has been my influence so far.
