Stuge
Short Review on Sennheiser CX300 Not sure what to write but i still have to write something b`coz i promised everybody. .I have tested these phones with my MZ-DH10P ,NW-HD5,NW-E505 & D-NE900 in Different bitrates from Atrac192kpbs -352kpbs &,Mp3 192kpbs-320kpbs & with Audio cd`s as well .--Pros(Good Points )1.)They are very Comfortable (Three Diffrent Ear fit rings or tips are provided ) (i)Small,(ii) Medium,(iii)Large2.)They provided good Isolation from outside sound (acc to me around 10-20db)3.)Sound is balanced but not very bassy as i was expecting .4.)Lows are quite clear. It also depends on how you set the equaliser settings .5.).Cable quality looks Good .6.)Good for listening Jazz(I basically listened to Norah Jones Songs )Cons .1.) No case is provided to keep phones .2.) Not good for listening Disco or even Pop or Rock .3.) For $60-70 they are not very immpresive .4.) .Length of the cord is ok ,1m.5.) .Sound is very Tiny even at high Volumes 6.) Slight Hiss is listenable with CX300 which quite irritatingON 1 to 10 scale, I will only give 5 points .Those who like less Bass will like these phones Edited May 11, 2006 by stuge
jaylen
This still sounds like a decent buy for someone on a budget. Also, according to HeadFi, the CX300 beat out the EX71. Based on their reviews, these are said to be better for classical music, not pop or disco, which seem to be your style of music. Side note: You said you hate jazz. Follower! Taken from that reviewers post:For bassheads, the CX300 does it right, with well balanced low and middle bass frequencies (although for my taste, I would have to give the PX100 one extra notch in this category, as the natural, open-air bass thud of the PX-100 is still quite unique). bogon07
All Pics are taken with my DH10P Very good closeups for for something that is not primarily a camera. You can see clearly that the CX300 uses a mesh rather than a pinhole like the EX71/51s.Thanks for the review. The note about the hiss is a bit disconcerting, is it because they are very sensitive ?I was wondering whether to go for the black or silver but after seeing your stylish black ones I think they are the way to go. Stuge
Very good closeups for for something that is not primarily a camera. You can see clearly that the CX300 uses a mesh rather than a pinhole like the EX71/51s.Thanks for the review. thanks :)Since DH10P is not for camera purpose so it needs right light & exposure The note about the hiss is a bit disconcerting, is it because they are very sensitive ?I was wondering whether to go for the black or silver but after seeing your stylish black ones I think they are the way to go.Yeah ..According to Spec they are sensitive but i dont think anyone can 18Hz hear .All walkmans out frequency responce is 20hz to 20000Hz(+or - 3db)..Also Human ears are aslo not that sensitive nice pictorial ab, seems you've learned from ishi's pictorials.keep 'em comingthanks , Yeah Somewhat .My pictorials will get better b`coz by the end of this month i will be buying my own digicam . .
