Tunster
Check this bargain (or is a mistake?);http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-HiMD-1GB-Mini...8547671?ie=UTF8No mistake at all. People or other comapres can sell products through Amazon and obviously sell it cheaper.

sector001
Seller's shipping is exorbitant!yeah shipping is probably gonna equal the total of what the actual cost of the HiMD is.
jonny mac
Yes, this has been happening for a while on Amazon, the shipping increases the price dramatically which is quite an underhand tactic, I don't like it.In fact though, I've used the seller (Discount Discs) many times and they are always good. Just be sure to order directly through them rather than through Amazon. Sometimes their HiMD prices are as low as £3.99 but it depends on how many you order. heathenmagic
I can second <jonnymacs> post. Good service from them.
rich1068
Just to revive this one as no actual costs were mentioned...I'd noticed this thread but not read it. As tomorrow is MZ-RH1 day I popped over to Amazon to order some blanks. I put 6 blank discs in my shopping basket and noticed the total cost was £29.94. That's £27.00 delivery ladies and gentlemen. It doesn't mention whether the parcel is wrapped in gold thread or that they are delivered by swans but I'm guessing not. It's an attention grabbing con IMO. Look at the prices on Discount Discs own site and you'll see what I mean.

jonny mac
I don't like the tactic but don't finger point at DDs alone for this, it happens a lot on Amazon and E-Bay too. Simple solution is to ignore it and go direct.
heathenmagic
Blister pack of Hi-MDThink this is a new addition to Amazon, 2 Hi-mds for £7.24, and free shipping on orders over £15. Thought it might be helpful.
