OK i have a Mz-N910 with a non working remote

and some weird button problems, When i press a button something else happen

Say i press Volume and instead it change song or i click Rename in Edit and it ask me if i want to delete

Seem like some bad conection in the component because this error is caused by button having become over sensative.

It probaly be expensive to repair.

So my question should i atempt repair Mz-N910 or go for a N10 instead

is N10 better than N910 and what is better or worse with N10 compared to Mz-N910

I can get a N10 new in Sony offical shop for 190 euro on sale.

I realy like to get a MZ-Rh10 but is discontinued here so is not easy to get.

and importing it will increase the Postage cost.

Any suggestion

Meanwhile i am using mostly my mp3 player

since the buttons problem on my md bother me a bit

If I were me I would try to get a Hi-MD, for 190 Euro you could probably find any of the gighr end first or secong generation. If not the N10 is a pretty good unit, but getting old and subject to the recording head wiring problems.

Good luck,

Bob

N10 has a nonstandard, proprietary USB connector. You need its docking stand to connect USB or charge the battery, which is built-in. (There's also an outboard AA pod that ruins the way it looks.) Very inconvenient, and if you lose the cradle you won't get much use from the unit.

Really, look around and get a Hi-MD.

Minidisc Access does international shipping.
