comspec
I'm curious about those users that have the MZ-RH10 and the performance of the EL display over time. Yes, I've seen mine fade some, since it was purchased in 2006... but overall, its still easily usable. How is YOUR RH10 display holding up? sfbp
I have an RH-910, and its biggest problem was not the display fading (which it did) but simply the voltage driving the display falling below spec. One relatively simple power adjustment and it came right. I wonder if the RH10 might just happen to be similar? (other LCD units certainly have been). I know the urban myth is that the OEL display fails, but perhaps not.....

Only problem with it is not charging batteries and not recognizing battery charge, so till I drive it to technical service (I hope tomorrow) is not very usable. I'm assuming its an adjustment you made in the service mode? Might be worth a shot.

sfbp
The screen got better with the very first adjustment in the power section. You will need a fair bit of equipment to make this adjustment IIRC.
