oroville Posted April 2, 2013 Report Share Posted April 2, 2013 OK am I getting the best quality this way first I download an album in flac then burn it to a CD using gburner (even adds CD text for me) anyways then I put it in my Sony MXD-D5C and record in SP mode and play the new MD with my sharp 702 MD player with some audio-technica ATH-M50 headphones any thoughts thanks... PhilippeC Posted April 4, 2013 Report Share Posted April 4, 2013 To catch the best quality if you are recording in real time from your PC, you need to get an ultimate audiophile 24bit/192kHz soundcard. For example from Creative Soundblaster, That is what ME I have... even if it is only 24bit/96kHz (X-Fi Platinium). Or, much better when you, sorry I will be rich, the M2TECH HIFACE interface (a jitter highly destructive unit) plus a real audiophile (and expensive) DAC (Rega or Naim...).
