ayeosq Posted April 16, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 16, 2014 Well, depends on format, I listen to LP2 and it will last at least 5 days of two hours travel each day on my N710... Usually I charge for 5 to 6 hours in player friday, then use on monday to friday for travel initially... Pretty reasonable for a 5USD battery... For how long that last, for now at least half a year, although the hours for my first batch still last for a decent few days of travel though, which is why I decided to get more of them... punkrockaddict Posted April 22, 2014 Report Share Posted April 22, 2014 Yes These Need to be discharged before getting charged again. I reconmend a better charger then the Unit itself. Usually i let them loop through an alive Programm every Time.That gives me great results.. As i got enough NH14 i always Carry 3-4 @ full charge when iam on a Ride ;-) I can charge them at a maximum of 1250 mah. And those were near 12 years old. They last ages when used for Playback. culp4684 Posted May 5, 2014 Report Share Posted May 5, 2014 One of the downsides of NiMH batteries is that they will start to self discharge pretty quickly if you don't use them. There is a great article here about battery types: http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/Nickel_based_batteries So in other words, they work best if you charge them just before use.
