msteeln
I'm currently getting my MD collection into my laptop and want some blank discs again to use as backup at gigs I record but am finding trouble in recording over full discs or merely erasing the content. Isn't there a basic way to wipe the discs clean from the unit itself, minus any hookup to a computer? Is there even useable software now for the 200? Thanx! Jimma
If you go into the menu, select Edit and then All Tr Erase remove all music from the disc (or more accurately modify the TOC so the disc is once again treated as a blank disc). Otherwise you can also format the disc from the unit which will remove all audio and other data from the disc.
kalkie
Best is to use the AC Adaptor while doing that. See page 54 of the User Manual: http://www.minidisc.org/manuals/sony/Sony_MZ-RH1_user_manual.pdf
PhilippeC
As the RH1 and the M200 have a too sensible and fragile joogle, I prefer to do that my other units, specially my decks (even if after that I choose a Hi-MD recording format). msteeln
Thanx guys. As the RH1 and the M200 have a too sensible and fragile joogle, I prefer to do that my other units, specially my decks (even if after that I choose a Hi-MD recording format). That's good to know, might enlist my old RH-50.
slugbahr
An RH-50 would be the NEWEST unit ever, even newer than an RH1. (I know, i know, you probably meant the R50 or RH10)
