bogon07
Yeh nice pictures Stuge. The close ups came out well.Interesting, your silver one has black lettering on the buttons, my blue and my wife's pink both have white lettering.***** doh, the lettering is black when the unit is off and white when turned on or sometimes an orange glow when artist link pressed****The A1000 is a bit of a capacity drop from your other HDD players. Guest Stuge
What are you not happy with concerning this model? Also what do you think of sound quality compared to say HD5 and smaller sony flash players?Who told you that i'm not happy with the model .Till now i'm really happy with it .Sound Quality of A1000 is slightly better than HD3 & HD5.At the same time it will be really harsh to compare the sound quality of my E505 with A1000 b'coz A1000 has six band equalizer ,whereas E505 does not . markey
Sorry Stuge, when you said "(till now)" I thought you were having second thoughts about the player. The reason I ask about sound quality is because when listening to my A1200 through a pair of EX71's the sound can become rather distorted, something I don't get when listening through same pair of earphones when using my HD5. Also when using the stock phones on my E407, that sounds better than the A1200 through same pair of stock phones. Maybe it's just me. A really decent set of phones is probably whats needed. I Dont think much of the battery life either. I have probably been spoiled by battery life of the HD5 and E407
DSP
what do you think of the soundquality compared to your mz-dh10p?I've owned a mz-nh900 and really liked its soundquality, but at the same time I think my nw-a1200 has some sort of edge over the mz-nh900. What do you think?
Guest Stuge
what do you think of the soundquality compared to your mz-dh10p?Sorry for the late replay .Sound Quality of DH10P is slightly better(DH10 gives out slightly clear sound ) than A1000,it may be b'coz DH10 has HDamp . MDX-400
Sorry Stuge, when you said "(till now)" I thought you were having second thoughts about the player.LOL yeah that's what I was thinking too.Just as a tip Stuge, you'd probably be better off using the term "so far" instead of "until now"With respect to the context here, the former means that since you've had the player you've been happy with it (no problems/issues to report yet); the latter means that you were happy with it until now (and you've become unhappy with it now for one reason of another). What you said is still correct I guess, but it's all about the way it comes across... Saying "until now" makes people think that "now" there is a problem; saying "so far" means no problems
