The older firmware "Crashed and reset" my HU when playing an audio CD and displayed "track 0, time 0:00", and with no track/album/artist title whenever playing an MP3 or ATRAC CD. I currently own a couple of older interfaces and would like to upgrade them or replace them with the newer ones if upgrade is somehow not possible.The 2 units I DO have, are older versions, including one (in chrome) from (the now-defunct) Connects2USA, an MSC-01, built January 05, and I was wondering, since you live in the UK if you have any heads ups on possible firmware upgrades available for the older modules. I did however in my cleanup of one of the units (the silver one, that I got on eBay UK) take off all the ID stickers, including the serial no., but I am sure that they will be able to help get both of my units upgraded with the newer firmware, as I am a member of their forum, and they told me they would be able to help me out (even here in the U.S.), provided I ship the boxes to their HQ's in the UK, in which I can certainly do.
