Zizone_
It seems like the new Media Manager will be out soon which supports Sony's mobile electronics: Walkman, SE phones, and PSP, according to following link.linkSE linkThe screen shot shows SE Media Manager but the site says "that there will be a point where all devices - Sony Ericsson Walkman, Sony Playstation Portable and Sony Network Walkman - use this software."I wonder if this is the software that Sony was talking about (Media Manager for Walkman) in NWZ-810 series in US.At least there will be one software for all (free software) in addition to WMP11 and drag-n-drop. metal
and gapless too (for non-atrac codecs that is)! Media Manager will support the Japanese models S71x and S61x and therefore ATRAC. Not sure about the old ATRAC models. Avrin
If it supports S71x and S61x without a firmware upgrade, then it may possibly support any other ATRAC device currently supported by SonicStage. Their drivers are very similar, and all communications currently go through the SonySDK2.sys file.

That's why I said Media Manager for Walkman will be yet another option in addition to WMP11 and drag-n-drop.
ceres
Winamp 5.5 also hit the stage today and the new one window ui looks good if you switch off some stuff If you fork over the required 19 bucks, you´ll also get very good encoders for aac. I think this program can evolve into something great. It has radio, podcasts and fledging community capabilities. Can anyone with the new nwz please try to drop a wpl playlist in winamp? Also please try whether it is possible to add aac files to that wpl list. Then transfer the playlist to the attached walkman, please.Thank you!
