  1. Uninstall via the directions in the software faq (found within the forum I moved your post to), and then install Sonicstage 3.2.
  2. That's cool man, you should post a picture of the whole lot to make us all drool. How about a complimentary one for the nice admin.
  3. Welcome, LosEmilos. Install Service Pack 2.
  4. The advanced board search is not working properly, so please use the simple search or the Google search for the time being.
  5. Ishii, if you haven't already, get the DVD for this album. Beth Orton is truly intoxicating -- and with her casual cigarette smoke aimlessly wandering amongst the sonic landscape of the band behind her it's truly a unique experience.
  6. Garden State Soundtrack in MP3, 192kbps with my new NW-HD3. Stunning. 1. Don't Panic - Coldplay 2. Caring Is Creepy - The Shins 3. In The Waiting Line - Zero 7 4. New Slang - The Shins 5. I Just Don't Think I'll Ever Get Over You - Colin Hay 6. Blue Eyes - Cary Brothers 7. Fair - Remy Zero 8. One Of These Things First - Nick Drake 9. Lebanese Blonde - Thievery Corporation 10. The Only Living Boy In New York - Simon & Garfunkel 11. Such Great Heights - Iron and Wine 12. Let Go - Frou Frou 13. Winding Road - Bonnie Somerville
  7. Your completely right -- any submissions without some sort of drawing, no matter how crude, will not be accepted.
  8. Fantastic. Please give us your impressions of the new digs when you're up to it.
  9. The OLED and LCD is a major difference. Look at the pictures, it's really a big selling factor.
  10. Volta and greenmachine, thanks for creating an excellent and extremely informative thread. I have no doubt that this will be of great use to the aspiring novice, and I will be sure to utilize some of these tips when I record more in the coming months. Maybe we should have a little group workshop thread for creating these croakies. I definitely want a pair.
  11. I would have to say that the Sony Sparkling series is my absolute favorite of all the MD releases, and thanks for sharing the 1997 release -- I've never seen it before. I look forward to your 1999 pictorial.
  12. No problem, Mr. Bringer. I think that everyone should have Cleartype on, as without it the header within the forum looks horrid. Many other websites benefit from turning it on, and it delivers a more pleasing reading experience overall.
  13. Hilarious, Zathura. I think that there is no real difference in durability between the MD's of old and the Hi-MD discs of today as the casing is exactly the same. A Minidisc can easily survive me, which is a true testiment to their strength.
  14. Try the MDAC repair tool in the Downloads section.
  15. Well, why not utilize the merits of your membership and download Sonicstage 3.2 from our Downloads section, here: http://forums.minidisc.org/downloads/download.php?file=21 It has Sonicstage and Simple Burner 2 in an all-in-one installation package.
  16. Ah, patents. What a wonderful world. The title of this topic is a little misleading -- the patent isn't for mp3 players as a whole, but rather the navigation within that is commonly found in almost every MP3 player out today. Would I consider it groundbreaking? Possibly, but it'll probably be just a petty fee that all other manufacturers will have to pay until they convert to a new system that isn't similar to this. That will not be difficult, as a company can just introduce a small change and it could be considered completely different. Patents are a extremely complicated matter (go read a patent and you'll know what I mean) and as Sparky191 noted it's likely this will be in court for a while before really afflicting the industry.
  17. Welcome to the forums. Anyone wish to expand further on this?
  18. Ishiyoshi and I were talking about this the other day over IM and I'm quite impressed by this release. I think the ability to quickly rip DVD Audio straight to regular MD in a bookshelf is very nice. Something that confuses me is that it doesn't list DVD Audio as a standard playback format, but one must assume that if it can play DVD Video, then DVD Audio discs would be fine as well -- it would be a little silly if it were otherwise. I imagine the 2x MD to MD copy is probably analog, but that's a neat feature as well - something that has been seemingly common with MD bookshelves released by Victor in recent times.
  19. If you had the normal 3.2, why did you install the stand-alone?
  20. Hi, and welcome to the forums. Give Sonicstage 3.2 and Simple Burner 2 a shot, it should be all you need for transferring music to your MD via computer. Simple Burner 2 is good for quick CD to MD rips.
  21. The new software only works for the MZ-M100 and MZ-M10. It may be hacked to work for other units, but nothing is definite at this time. I would return the unit and get the M100/M10 if I were you.
  22. Good topic. Coincidentally, I saw the same RH10 the other day at Sony Style and was also very confused as to why they would display such an unflattering picture of the RH10. It is quite obvious the font is different between the two units, and furthermore, the RH10 in the first picture seems to have a LCD instead of an OLED. This picture is obviously some sort of mockup pre-production shot. I also noticed that the record button isn't even red.
  23. Say hello to our new Disc Pictorials section.
