Welcome to the forums. Search for me about this a little bit and refine your questions accordingly.

Are they Q55's? Not the best to test with..
-
Surprising it's like that even at 320kbps..what headphones do you have btw?
-
That's a good trick - the program we have in the downloads section essentially does the same thing without the need for so many steps so I'm curious as to if you did open the repair tool and re-register each JET and MDAC. I will edit the FAQ in due time accordingly with info about this manuver..

nVidia v71 drivers run fine with me and Sonicstage. Update to v71, you should be fine - if they don't work with v71's then something else is afoot..

Please read the rules of this forum and post your system specifications.

Great mini-review and pictorial, and I appreciate you putting time into this to share with the rest of the world. I would like to hear some sound quality comparisons with your other units if possible.. Nothing beats a recent generation Sharp player only unit in terms of overall presentation. Stunning.

I think you guys may not understand..this wouldn't be for the forum, this would be for minidisc.org.
-
I'll volunteer for a commercial! I bet I could sell units by the thousands with my enthralling allure to the Aussie ladies..

Well, Canada isn't known to be up to speed on anything electronics wise - seems like it takes a bit longer for things to filter down to you guys. Send a PM to Daijoubu; he lives in Canada and knows a few e-tailers there that could get it there cheaper. You know these guys carry it and ship to CA, right? Or is the shipping there $10..

Happy belated birthday jkrobs, for what it's worth! Sounds like a bum recording head for sure. Why don't you consider a MZ-RH10 or RH910?
-
Sony has already opened things quite a bit in my opinion. Maybe a blowout before the demise..
-
Neo, please post your system specs according to the rules. Additionally, you may also want to try our Sonicstage 3.1 installer.

For the car or just a portable unit? What's your maximum budget?

Welcome. What format is the track in question? MP3, WAV, or...?

Sonicstage 3.1 Full Installer Mdcf, Himd Problems
Christopher replied to oceans777's topic in Software
Must've been a problem with a variable on the computers, I have successfully installed this installer on three seperate PC's with no issues. If people do continue to have problems we will look into some sort of solution however. We prefer to keep the installer as light as possible.. -
I agree completely - I've been real impressed by the quality of responses in the Live Recording forum lately.

I'm echoing A440 about ffdshow...

Hell yes that's a good deal! Good job. Although I think you're now in the realm of true obsession..

Wow, quite a few replies already! Well, as I've said, this is just one of the current propositions for a new bridge between the site and the forums. I honestly would prefer this new site, of course, with heavy alterations to put focus towards the large archives of information we have here and not so much emphasis on the news. Another great thing about this hypothetical portal style is that it allows really tight integration with the forums and the main site, as the main site is mostly controlled through the forums. You can see all of the news postings in the site are merely grabbed from the news forum. Additionally, it really unionizes all aspects of what minidisc.org has to offer - site, forums, gallery, downloads. To be honest however, I'm not so sure if this will become the next minidisc.org but I do believe that things will change progressively this year. There's alot of dead links at minidisc.org, and the site was designed back in 95-97 which is really ancient in terms of web standards. So something will be in place eventually. If anyone posts any further comments of this proposed portal system, please give constructive feedback. What can be done to make it more agreeable? I'm glad some of you can step up to tell me how you honestly feel about this, but I need to know what I can do to make it better! duh! Thank you to those of you who have - espesically the skinning issue, doh!

skmetal, he's referring to the news topics that make you scroll over within those topics - this would be countered by not posting huge pics in the threads and make more use of the attachment feature or some sort of thumbnail system..I hope that made sense.

Hi, The webmaster and I have been talking about changing the way the front page flows. There's alot of ideas in the air, but the most attractive (to me, at least) is the portal software that comes with Invision Power Board. We're consistantly tweaking this page, and will do so for the next day or two to see what kind of functionality we can get out of it. If it works out well, then this very well could become the front page for minidisc.org: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?act=home The logo at this time is the same as the forum; that will change accordingly in due time. What do you think? p.s. If everything works out, next up is the product pages being converted to a Wikipedia-type format.

Welcome. I moved this to the Software section, because I want to see if it's that first. Since I've moved it here, why don't you check out the rules and the pinned topics in this forum.

You are correct about the Japanese MZ-RH10 - it is able to title correctly and doesn't have such woes.. I'm fairly confident that Sony will introduce a fix for this matter soon, as they seem to have a resolution in place already (from what I've heard). I will post a reply again as soon as I hear more. It will be interesting to see how a fix is distributed..
