My general recommendation is to take all nagging reviews on the Internet with a grain of salt and really evaluate their concern. If possible, always try and sample the product you wish to buy first.. Seriously though, I can't tell you how many times I've read reviews on the Internet of various devices with "serious" useability issues in certain aspects - only to find the "aspect" to be a nil issue. Have fun with your Hi-MD!

Haha for sure..and for what it's worth, thanks for putting this all together Ishii.

Never have I been so impressed at the debut of any technology such as this; the PS3 will dawn the new era of Sony success. Coupled with the PSP, Sony has ultimately delivered the best possible gaming experience. I look forward to the day when I have dual plasma tv's or something of that nature with dual HDMI - what an amazing experience that will be. It's really cool how they did bluetooth for the controllers as well.

Just get a Chaintech AV710, outpreforms most Creative cards anyways and has a friendly digital out.

This has been covered before, check these threads out (): http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=9357 http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=9367 ..and more are out there, just do a little homework.

Try removing the battery and reinserting it. Also try searching, pretty sure this has been covered before..

That's why we have FAQ's. Welcome to the forums, by the by.

When you transfer "SP" via Sonicstage to a NetMD or Hi-MD unit, it's actually rebadged LP2. For a few reasons, Sony was never able to reproduce true SP in such a manner. SP should be done in realtime anyway..that's the way we used to do it back in the day and it's not that bad.

It's not a pain (to me), and I really don't understand what the fuss is about.

Okay..update, I have sent this information and your picture to a friend within Sony and we'll see what they have to say. I'll get back to you.

It's an error with this firmware and as a result this function doesn't work properly. For best use, just employ the titling functions in Sonicstage/Simple Burner. Thank you for the picture btw, I will probably use this in an upcoming news bit to share with the rest of the world. We've been aware of this for a while but this is the first picture I've actually seen of it.

I agree with you and thank you for sympathizing with my poor fingers; I think I may develop carpel tunnel if I don't make some macros soon. I will see what I can do!

Totally get the MZ-RH10! Welcome to the forums, btw.

Have you tried hitting refresh within the program? I think it's in one of the menus (like file, edit, etc)

Welcome.. Post your system specs according to the rules and also try reinstalling via the directions in the faq.
-
Welcome.. Did you uninstall via the directions in the FAQ? Will you please post your system specs according to the rules? Re: Breadfan - installing old version of Sonicstage only makes the problem worse. Uninstall via the directions in the faq, post your system specs according to the rules and get back to us.

Hrm, state your specs according to the rules of this forum.

Happy Birthday SlowMo!! You too, bucksfizz.

One thing that must be considered is that alot of these devices have been in R+D for quite a while, and are merely on the product cycle. Plus, I think that regular MD/LP is still immensely popular in comparison to Hi-MD devices in Japan..
-
Excellent pictures as always - I think people are probably stunned by the amount of MD units and such you have..I am at least. I think the silver/white E710 is a very aesthetically pleasing device..how does it sound in comparison to the others? Any favor towards this? Did you notice on the cradle (last shot) there is a female symbol?

Welcome, RBL. To upload recordings via USB, you must record them on a Hi-MD unit. Hi-MD units cannot upload recordings made by non Hi-MD devices. Explained a little further here: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=7070

Welcome, GOONER1066.. Is that XP with service pack 2, or..? What's your full system specs according to the rules?
-
You don't need to use the Japanese Sonicstage, you can download our Sonicstage 3.1 installer from the Downloads section and use that..

The NH1 and NH900 do not charge via USB. Only second generation units have this functionality. The NH1 doesn't have an option to use an external battery pack - the NH900 does however and so do a few of the second generation units.
